How California’s last remaining nuclear power plant transformed marine life off the coast... 

Take a dip into the Pacific Ocean along most of California’s Central Coast, and the cold water will send you running for a wetsuit. But there’s one spot where the water isn’t so teeth-chattering and instead feels much like a lukewarm bath: Diablo Cove, the oblong 40-acre inlet that sits at the base of PG&E’s Diablo Canyon nuclear power plant near Avila Beach. There, the ocean waters are heated by the power plant’s cooling system, which sucks in and spits out billions of gallons of seawater every day.

Water in the cove directly adjacent to the discharge structure hovers at an abnormal 70 to 80 degrees — notably warmer than the 50 to 60 degrees typical here.

So when these same Americans say that Cuomo sexually harassed them by looking down their shirt, by making comments on how pretty they were… are these just cases of herd behavior, stressed out herd behavior, by people that are confused and don’t see reality and imagine the worst, based on their minds eye view of the world?  Was it really harassment? I remember when someone paid off a hooker, grabbed them by the pussy and it was ok. But someone else gave a hug and it was touted as harassment. Why do we tolerate using the truth and reality at our disposal to meet our positions at the expense of someone?  It use to be that harassment was not a compliment, it was… have sex with me if you want to advance, or be groped, or worse.  Now, a look,  smile, a compliment is used as the test case for harassment. I think humans are doomed. We’re so fucking smart and yet, half of us can’t fathom our way out of a box of lies to find reality. 
I could go on, and comment that harassment is real… and the definition is too undefined to be used.
I could go on and say that racism is real, but just the color of your skin doesn’t make you racist. 
I could go on and say that political corruption is real, but just being a politician doesn’t make you guilty.
I could go on and say that half the people have no idea what they are doing, what is truth and what is not. 
But I think I’ll leave it at this, true harassment, true racism, true corruption is real, when you cloud it by calling everything harassment, racism, corruption, then the only people that benefit are the guilty, as it becomes impossible to tell the difference between right and wrong. 
Humans are such a highly over rated species.  Once your realize and change your expectations, it all becomes clear.

Let’s get this clear and straight for once. Understand your history before you start saying uneducated speculation. Understand how it affects the law today, how it drives the GOP lies about what is actually an historical truth. 
The founding fathers (NOTE THE WORD FATHERS, IT DOES NOT INCLUDE WOMEN) (founder or authors of the constitution and even the constitution itself) are not the last word in how things get done in this country. There have been many, many amendments and subsequent laws written to clarify and correct the original law of the land. 
ONE: 
THE FOUNDING FATHERS DID NOT INTEND FOR SLAVES TO GO FREE. MANY HAD SLAVES AND SERVANTS THEMSELVES. 
TWO: 
THE FOUNDING FATHERS DID NOT INTEND FOR SLAVES TO VOTE. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN UNTIL 1871. THEY TRIED INITIALLY IN 1868 WITH THE PASSING OF THE 14TH AMMENDMENT BUT THAT WASN’T ENOUGH FOR WHITE MALE RACISTS, WHO REFUSED TO ACCEPT THE AMMENDMENT AND REFUSED TO ALLOW BLACKS TO VOTE UNTIL THE PASSING OF THE 15TH AMMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION. BUT BLACK WOMEN WERE STILL NOT ABL TO VOTE.
THREE:  
THE FOUNDING FATHERS DID NOT INTEND FOR WOMEN TO VOTE. WOMEN WERE SERVANTS TO THEIR MAN, WERE NOT FREE AND DID NOT HAVE THE RIGHT OPINIONS. IT TOOK UNTIL 1920 FOR CONGRESS TO GRANT WOMEN THE RIGHT TO VOTE
FOUR: 
THE FOUNDING FATHERS DID NOT INTEND FOR EVERYONE TO VOTE, ONLY LANDOWNERS WERE ALLOWED TO VOTE. OTHERS WERE NOT CONSIDERED WEALTHY ENOUGH TO VOTE. IT WASN’T UNTIL 1912 THAT NON LAND OWNERS WERE ALLOWED TO VOTE, BUT ONLY 30 AND OLDER. SEVERAL YEARS LATER THAT WAS EXPANDED TO 21 AND OLDER AND THEN AGAIN,M IN 1971 TO 18 AND OLDER. 
THE CURRENT GOP ATTEMPTS TO LIMIT VOTING IS IN THE LEGAL PROCESS. THE GOP WANTS TO LIMIT VOTING TO THE GOP AND WOULD LIKE IT TO BE WEALTHY GOP IF THEY COULD. THEIR CURRENT RHETORIC STATES THE DEMOS WANT TO ALLOW MURDERERS, ILLEGAL ALIENS, NON CITIZENS, RAPISTS, CHILD MOLESTERS TO VOTE!  
 But we’re not that stupid Ted Cruz, if that’s what you actually wanted, laws would exclude felons, and illegal people like they do today. This is just another GOP attempt to limit mail in votes, same day registration, and legitimate votes in an effort to disallow legitimate votes in order to tilt the votes towards republicans. They’ve done their homework, they know that younger voters, late registrations, mail in voters tend to vote democrat and if they can somehow disable them from voting, they can aain win congress and the white house. It simply corruption at it’s most devious as espoused by Cruz and the 50 senate GOP members, the 219 GOP members of the house.
It’s time we stop revering the founding fathers as the final word. They did their best, made mistakes that we are correcting today, despite the GOP attempts to stop progress and equality. 
Of note, the GOP tends to act like only the wealthy should be allowed to vote, no blacks, no women, slaves too  and would revert to this if they could get away with it.

My Autobiography: Growing Up in Los Gatos, California in the 1960s by Gregory Vanderlaan - and Living in San Jose, Washington DC, Chico, Eureka and Orangevale, CA.

I Was Born in 1954. We lived Near the San Jose Airport until they Started Landing Jet Airplanes and We had to move... We went to Los Gatos in 1960. I lived there until graduation from Los Gatos High School in 1972... an Ideal Childhood... FYI: Los Gatos is about 50 miles South of San Francisco on the edge of the mountains between San Jose and Santa Cruz.

I Went to West Valley Jr. College, learned electronics drafting and got a job at System Industries in Santa Clara... I feel blessed that not only did I grow up in a great location but I also grew up at a great time. I missed the Vietnam War by ONE Year and Silicon Valley Was Hiring Like Crazy When I Needed a Job.
