Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington
Troubling... I use Meta... Everyday... I use Faceborg because everyone I know is on there and the posts that they share are interesting to me... Friends and Family...
I read Google News everyday & all my music videos are on YouTube..
However, I do boycott Amazon and Walmart... I just refuse to do business with those corporations... I was bothered by Jeff Bezos's purchase of the Washington Post Newspaper and his corporate censorship... And I don't shop at Walmart because they added a $10 delivery fee to every shipment because... They say it's a long distance to my house... I know that it's 3 Mi to the Walmart down the street... But they choose to do all home delivery shipments from a town about 50 Mi away... Well you can steal $10 from me once but not twice!
The takeover of the mainstream media makes the work of bloggers important...
The landlord just replaced My TV with a Vizio device that has no monthly bill for him... But it seems to automatically find CBS news stations... And so I watch CBS news from New York City often... Also Los Angeles... It's possible to get ABC, NBC, BBC, PBS and Reuters... But the default is CBS... Most famous for canceling the Stephen Colbert late night show...

And some of those feel-good general interest stories seem to be obvious propaganda or advertisements masquerading as news... For example: they just did a story that people who are visiting the United States for the soccer games are you using UPS to ship Ranch Salad Dressing to their home country where they can't get Ranch Dressing... That sounds like an infomercial paid for by UPS... And a reminder that living in the United States is truly wonderful and you can just go down to the grocery store and buy ranch dressing... Unlike those third world hell holes...
