Google Search is indexing fewer and fewer of my blog posts. How can I fix this problem? I used to have thousands of blog posts indexed but now, 38...

I post words and pictures... On a wide variety of subjects... Very few videos... I put those on my YouTube channel... It used to be that Google indexed thousands of my blog posts but every day they index fewer...

I did notice that one day they visited my blog 15,000 times... I assume they scrubbed it to add data to their AI machine...

In general, Google search displays an AI overview first... And if you're asking a question, they answer it... And there's no need for you to visit an actual web page... Written by someone who is not employed by Google... Unless you're looking for more information or a different opinion...

Google image search does have a lot of my content indexed...

And most of the other search engines use the results from the Bing bot... Famous for being bad quality...

AI is a waste of Electricity. AI does nothing to improve my life and now they want to restart Atomic power plants so that corporations can make more money, Lay off people and replace them with robots...

AI is a disaster so far... And soon to become much worse... I keep on seeing advertisements on television saying that you can download an open source version of artificial intelligence... That means that any programmer... Can make it do whatever they want to... Including programmers from North Korea... And Criminals that want to steal money from people...

No, I don't remember people complaining about water-cooled mainframes... I started working in computers in 1975 when Mini computers were popular... The PDP 11 in the VAX... but I have a feeling that you're correct... People are always whining about something... Endless whining... I do remember that selling blank tape and cassette recorders was going to ruin the music industry because people would just record songs off the radio...

On Facebook, my posts are often marked as "spam" and they threatened to block me temporarily for having the audacity of posting a link to a website that is not owned by Zuckerberg!

Elon Musk says a lot of us are doing it wrong when it comes to posting links on X.

He says people should write a description in their main post, followed by the link in a reply.

Musk says this will stop "lazy linking." If you have any idea what that even means, please let me know!

For anyone who posts links on X, it's been intuitively clear that since Elon Musk took over, posts with links don't get the same reach as they used to.

Another example of right-wingers trying to make everything political is when you try to have a rational discussion about finding a solution about the smash-and-grab robberies which have been happening all over California. Instead of having a rational discussion and trying to come up with solutions, right-wingers just want to blame the liberals. Everything must be the fault of the liberals, and never mind trying to come up with solutions, because the only solution the right-wingers will consider is getting rid of the liberal politicians. People on the left try to have actual conversations and come up with solutions WITHOUT making it political. I seriously doubt that the people committing the smash-and-grab crimes have any particular political leaning. They're just opportunists. I felt similarly about the way the right-wingers kept blaming the left when some of the BLM protests in 2020 ended up with rioting and looting. Instead of realizing that those people were opportunists, they kept saying that they were leftists. Not everything is political, right-wingers! It would really be a good thing if you'd quit trying to blame the left for everything and be willing to have rational discussions about some of the stuff that's happening in the world. Not everything is the fault of the left.
