President Biden Enjoys Presidential Immunity...
and Former Guy TRUMP Does Not! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Presidential_immunity_in_the_United_States
Deep in the bowels of the Central Intelligence Agency, situated between the Princess Diana Coverup Unit and the bureau dedicated exclusively to decoding the Kryptos sculpture, is a desk of officers working tirelessly to fix Super Bowl LVIII for the Kansas City Chiefs, such that tight end Travis Kelce and his pop-star girlfriend Taylor Swift (whose relationship is also a deep-state machination) can announce upon victory that they are going not to Disney World, but rather to every home in America to force you to vote for President Joseph Robinette Biden.

It's crucial today that you scrutinize your personal principles, beliefs, and moral values, particularly concerning fundamental issues such as women's rights, gun control, climate change, the rule of law, protection of the constitution and democracy, border security, and international relations.
Why you should reconsider your support for a political party and its leadership that does not prioritize these critical matters:
A party's leadership stance on personal rights, particularly regarding reproductive freedom, speaks volumes about its commitment to equality and individual autonomy. Denying a woman's or man’s right to make their own personal medical decisions undermines our agency over our own bodies and life choices, perpetuating inequality and infringing upon our basic human rights.
Gun violence remains a pressing concern to all of us nationally, affecting us and our communities and claiming lives indiscriminately every day. Does your party and its leadership support comprehensive safe gun control measures, including background checks and restrictions on firearms access, that are essential for promoting public safety for you, your family, and your friends and preventing senseless unneeded tragedies. If they do not ask yourself morally why not?
Climate change is real and we see it happening every day it poses an existential threat to you, your family, your community, and our planet, with far-reaching consequences for ecosystems, economies, and your overall well-being. A political party and its leadership that does not prioritize robust climate action, including emissions reduction targets, renewable energy investments, and international cooperation, to mitigate the worst impacts of climate change and safeguard our collective future can no longer be supported.
The rule of law forms the bedrock of our democratic society, ensuring that no person, individual, or institution is above accountability and that justice is administered fairly and impartially. If your political party and its leadership no longer supports or believes in the truth it undermines the rule of law and threatens the very fabric of our moral beliefs and the principles of justice and equality for all of us.
Respect for constitutional principles and democratic norms is non-negotiable in our American democracy. Any party or leadership that disregards or undermines these foundational values jeopardizes the integrity of democratic institutions and erodes public trust in the political process, paving the way for authoritarianism and tyranny in a place we do not want to go to.
Effective border protection policies are necessary for maintaining national security and managing migration flows in a humane and orderly manner. If your party or leadership is not willing to come to an agreement they recently negotiated they do not want to truly protect you and our country.
Does your party or its leader support international alliances and partnerships that are essential for promoting peace, security, and prosperity on the global stage? Standing in solidarity with our allies, such as Ukraine, in the face of external aggression and geopolitical challenges demonstrates a commitment to collective security and the defense of our shared values.
In conclusion, aligning with a political party that disregards or opposes any of these critical issues undermines progress toward a just, inclusive, and sustainable society. As conscientious citizens with a belief in moral standards, it is incumbent upon us to hold our elected representatives accountable and advocate for policies that uphold human rights, promote social justice, and safeguard the common good. By prioritizing principles over partisanship, we can contribute to building a brighter and more equitable future for all.
Admit it. You aren’t like them. You’re not even close. You may occasionally dress yourself up as one of them, watch the same mindless television shows as they do, maybe even eat the same fast food sometimes. But it seems that the more you try to fit in, the more you feel like an outsider, watching the “normal people” as they go about their automatic existences. For every time you say club passwords like “Have a nice day” and “Weather’s awful today, eh?”, you yearn inside to say forbidden things like “Tell me something that makes you cry” or “What do you think deja vu is for?”
Face it, you even want to talk to that girl in the elevator. But what if that girl in the elevator (and the balding man who walks past your cubicle at work) are thinking the same thing? Who knows what you might learn from taking a chance on conversation with a stranger? Everyone carries a piece of the puzzle. Nobody comes into your life by mere coincidence. Trust your instincts. Do the unexpected. Find the others."

I got drafted out of college and brought home agent orange. trump had bone spurs! Cannot believe anybody who was there would even think about voting for trump! And any parents who have daughters should be ashamed for voting for a person who is so degrading to females and proud of the fact that he can grab them in the crotch when he wants to. Come on people! Think with your brain. His morals are lower than the belly of as snake. And he will Destroy Democracy!

This popped up in Memories from when I was running for president in my bathrobe. [SPOILER: I did not win.]
Corporations employ squadrons of high-paid tax lawyers to tell the government "Yeah, see, we took in $100 billion, but yada yada...and, well, see, we don't owe any taxes."
GE is an example. Revenues over the past six years have totaled almost thee quarters of a trillion dollars. Their profit in the US was about 30 billion. Yet their tax bill was minus 9% That's right, NEGATIVE 9%. They recieved refunds from the IRS of almost 3 billion dollars.
Verizon, Bank of America, Pfizer, Netflix—this orgy of tax dodging is running rampant. And seeing as how the tax codes are in large part authored by these very corporations, it's easy to see why.
I have a plan that fixes all that. You simply levy a 5% tax based on total gross revenue. It's not an "income" tax, which is based on a theoretical profit and loss as computed via convoluted highjinks comprehensible only to tax accountants, it's simply a tax on gross revenue. It's not an additional tax, it's a minimum tax. It kicks in only if their income tax bill falls below this point.
BTW, this applies only to mega-corporations with mega-revenue, not to small-to-medium businesses.
The argument that keeping only 95% of every US dollar raked in would be devastating hardly holds water (though I'm sure the Republicans would make it anyway).
Oh, and the old "Yeah, see, we moved our corporate office to Switzerland" ploy is out the window, too.
I asked a friend who has crossed 70 & is heading towards 80 what sort of changes he is feeling in himself? He sent me the following:
1. After loving my parents, my siblings, my spouse, my children and my friends, I have now started loving myself.
2. I have realized that I am not “Atlas”. The world does not rest on my shoulders.
3. I have stopped bargaining with vegetable & fruit vendors. A few pennies more is not going to break me, but it might help the poor fellow save for his daughter’s school fees.
4. I leave my waitress a big tip. The extra money might bring a smile to her face. She is toiling much harder for a living than I am.
5. I stopped telling the elderly that they've already told that story many times. The story makes them walk down memory lane & relive their past.
6. I have learned not to correct people even when I know they are wrong. The onus of making everyone perfect is not on me. Peace is more precious than perfection.
7. I give compliments freely & generously. Compliments are a mood enhancer not only for the recipient, but also for me. And a small tip for the recipient of a compliment, never, NEVER turn it down, just say "Thank You.”
8. I have learned not to bother about a crease or a spot on my shirt. Personality speaks louder than appearances.
9. I walk away from people who don't value me. They might not know my worth, but I do.
10. I remain cool when someone plays dirty to outrun me in the rat race. I am not a rat & neither am I in any race.
11. I am learning not to be embarrassed by my emotions. It’s my emotions that make me human.
12. I have learned that it's better to drop the ego than to break a relationship. My ego will keep me aloof, whereas with relationships, I will never be alone.
13. I have learned to live each day as if it's the last. After all, it might be the last.
14. I am doing what makes me happy. I am responsible for my happiness, and I owe it to myself. Happiness is a choice. You can be happy at any time, just choose to be!
I decided to share this for all my friends. Why do we have to wait to be 60 or 70 or 80, why can't we practice this at any stage and age?
