I wonder what people would have said if it hadn't been mentioned in the news that those 6 Dr. Seuss books contained racist imagery. What if the story had simply said, "The Dr. Seuss estate has decided to stop publication of 6 lesser-known Seuss books for financial reasons"? I bet there would be no screaming at "the left" for "canceling" Dr. Seuss if that had been the way the story was presented. But because it was mentioned that those 6 books contained racist imagery, the right jumped on the bandwagon and started spreading lies that "the left" has demanded that all of Dr. Seuss's books be pulled from shelves, and it simply isn't true! None of it! But if the racist imagery had never been mentioned, I bet the right would not have even noticed that 6 lesser-known Seuss books are no longer being published.

Why are people so determined to blame the liberals for things which liberals had nothing to do with? I get that people absolutely DESPISE liberals and want to make the rest of the world view liberals as bad people. But come on. When private companies make a decision to change the marketing of a toy or to stop showing an 80-year-old cartoon, it's ridiculous to try to place the blame on people who had absolutely nothing to do with those decisions. If you're so upset about Pepe Le Pew, contact Warner Brothers! March around in front of their corporate offices with signs! Same with Mr. Potatohead. Why not stage a demonstration in front of Hasbro's corporate offices instead of turning your anger at "the liberals" who had no part in Hasbro's decision? But blaming half the population for something which they had nothing to do with is pointless. All it does is further divide us as a country. Why does the right want to blame the left for everything? Turn your anger at the people who made those decisions! Stop being angry at the wrong people!

I Understand that THOSE PEOPLE OVER THERE have horrible Lives and are in deep trouble but... I'm not going to go visit and fundamentally... I JUST DON'T CARE.

If I watch TV News, I see that crime is a problem in the Cities... Places like LA, Washington DC and the South Side of Chicago have shootouts between drug gangs and murder is common... None of that happens in our little town... 

If I watch TV News, I see that Iraq, Syria, Yemen and Afghanistan are having active shooting Wars and Suicide Bombers... Crazy! But, if I Just Change the Channel it all goes away... 

If I watch TV News, I see that GUN NUTS are shooting up Schools, Workplaces and an Outdoor Concert in Las Vegas. Well, I Promise to NOT GO There... I see that the Countries in Central America have self-destructed and the people are walking to TEXAS and Tijuana... I bet that Texans and People living in SoCal are worried... BUT NOT ME... We simply do not have a lot of "Minority Group" people in our towns... Almost everyone is White... and we don't have a lot of Graffiti... 

I did spend many years living in San Jose, California and Gang Members Spray Paint Garbage Symbols all over everything. It's difficult to believe but some people actually believe that Graffiti is a good idea! I'm not making this up! I rode the AMTRAK Train thru Oakland once and the Walls are covered with squiggly crap... Just like Dogs mark their territory by urinating on fire hydrants and bushes... gang members mark their territory by spray painting their name on walls... ARF ARF! I'm Here! ARF ARF!

I remember the Pancake Breakfasts at Fisher Junior High in Los Gatos, California. They were a Benefit for the PTA. I liked the fact that it was "All You Can Eat" and they really meant it. I really like Fisher... Especially the Woodshop taught by Mr Sullivan. We Still have a Wooden Chopping Board I Made Then. It was a "U" shaped Board with Three Legs. It was high enough to let a cook slide a bowl under the cutaway end and collect the vegetables. It was great that I could ride my bike to school. That way, after school I was able to go anywhere in town to socialize with other kids. It was a Great Freedom to have my own bike. Once I rode all the way to the Rosicrucian Museum... I just saw a TV Travel Show about Amsterdam and Most people ride bikes there. What they never show is What People Do in the Winter in Ice, Snow and Rain. I remember that the Brakes were not very effective on a bike when wet. I Have NO IDEA how you could travel on an Ice Covered Road.  


In General, the Public Schools in my home town of Los Gatos, California were GREAT. Sadly, nowadays there is a lot of effort being made by Evil Betsy DeVos to destroy Public Schools and Use Taxpayer Dollars to Finance Christian Schools. Lucky for ME, I was born 65 Years ago when Public Schools were Something Wonderful and If Someone wanted to Go to a Christian School they were welcome to do so but TAXPAYERS didn't PAY. I guess that Evil Betsy DeVos is SO SURE that Jesus is the Only way that she tries to Force her Beliefs down everybody else's Throat. In a little remembered tale of History... Saint Francis of Assisi left his Home to go on a Crusade to Jerusalem. At the end of the First Day, he was Kidnapped and held for Ransom by another Italian, a neighbor. They knew that Saint Francis's Father was a Wealthy Cloth Merchant and Would PAY BIG BUCKS. After a Year in a Dungeon, He went home. During that Year He Met God, Renounced Wealth, became very interested in protecting animals and birds and VOLUNTEERED to Repair Churches. Maybe if we put Evil Betsy Devos in a Dungeon for a Year, she would Change her Evil Ways... Might Work! You Never Know What You Can Do Until You Try!

"Less than two weeks after Donald Trump chided Republican lawmakers for fearing the National Rifle Association and not being ambitious enough in their work to curb gun violence, the President seems to have backed down too.

The pipe dream of passing sweeping gun legislation met its end Sunday with the White House release of a plan that walks back Trump’s support for raising the age to buy some weapons, from 18 to 21, and shelves calls for comprehensive background checks. “Not much political support (to put it mildly)” Trump tweeted Monday."
