I remember the Pancake Breakfasts at Fisher Junior High in Los Gatos, California. They were a Benefit for the PTA. I liked the fact that it was "All You Can Eat" and they really meant it. I really like Fisher... Especially the Woodshop taught by Mr Sullivan. We Still have a Wooden Chopping Board I Made Then. It was a "U" shaped Board with Three Legs. It was high enough to let a cook slide a bowl under the cutaway end and collect the vegetables. It was great that I could ride my bike to school. That way, after school I was able to go anywhere in town to socialize with other kids. It was a Great Freedom to have my own bike. Once I rode all the way to the Rosicrucian Museum... I just saw a TV Travel Show about Amsterdam and Most people ride bikes there. What they never show is What People Do in the Winter in Ice, Snow and Rain. I remember that the Brakes were not very effective on a bike when wet. I Have NO IDEA how you could travel on an Ice Covered Road.  


In General, the Public Schools in my home town of Los Gatos, California were GREAT. Sadly, nowadays there is a lot of effort being made by Evil Betsy DeVos to destroy Public Schools and Use Taxpayer Dollars to Finance Christian Schools. Lucky for ME, I was born 65 Years ago when Public Schools were Something Wonderful and If Someone wanted to Go to a Christian School they were welcome to do so but TAXPAYERS didn't PAY. I guess that Evil Betsy DeVos is SO SURE that Jesus is the Only way that she tries to Force her Beliefs down everybody else's Throat. In a little remembered tale of History... Saint Francis of Assisi left his Home to go on a Crusade to Jerusalem. At the end of the First Day, he was Kidnapped and held for Ransom by another Italian, a neighbor. They knew that Saint Francis's Father was a Wealthy Cloth Merchant and Would PAY BIG BUCKS. After a Year in a Dungeon, He went home. During that Year He Met God, Renounced Wealth, became very interested in protecting animals and birds and VOLUNTEERED to Repair Churches. Maybe if we put Evil Betsy Devos in a Dungeon for a Year, she would Change her Evil Ways... Might Work! You Never Know What You Can Do Until You Try!
