"The second the news broke, the conspiracy theories started. Donald Trump is pretending to have Covid-19 so he can use his miraculous “recovery” to claim the virus isn’t a big deal; Trump is trying to avoid the next debate; Trump wants to delay the election; Trump is trying to distract us from his tax scandal. Forget the fact the guy rarely wears a mask and was bound to get sick at some point, an enormous number of people seem to reckon the president and first lady testing positive for the coronavirus is some kind of devious political strategy.
The grand prize for the most unhinged conspiracy theory goes to (who else?) QAnon followers. One of the many bizarre things these people believe (without any foundation) is that Covid-19 is a hoax designed to deflect attention from a Satan-worshipping pedophile ring operated by Hillary Clinton and liberal elites. Trump, their reasoning goes, is pretending to have Covid-19 as part of a grand plan to arrest Clinton. According to these geniuses Trump communicated his intentions via a tweet on Friday morning where he announced he and Melania had tested positive and declared: “We will get through this TOGETHER!” When you pull apart TOGETHER it spells out TO GET HER. The Fall Of Our Discontents Scenario

A major betrayal and con job is about to unfold. It will reveal the gullibility of a third of Americans. The future of the media, politicians and religious organizations will be for some time be suspect of their validity. Even the once stalwart judicial system’s prejudices and biases will be exposed. The police that is supposed to protect the citizens will be handcuffed to do all of their duties. A blue tsunami is coming to bring about Medicare for all.
This will come to fruition when it is revealed that the president faked his coronavirus test to disrupt everything that is going wrong against him from a simple unforced lie to the fatal charge of treason. He will be found to be a willing agent of Putin and that he is beholden by finances to numerous multinational oligarchs.
He will incite brown shirt style protests and riots for a civil war for him to hold on to power and to prevent him from being charged on January 21, 2021 until the statute of limitations can be his legal ally.
He can be impeached again or he can resign if pardoning himself does not work, to make way for acting president Pence to pardon him of any federal crimes committed for compassionate health reasons. Any sort of States’ charges are less than treason.
President Benedick Donald Trumpet does not have covid-19. He does have cerebral circulatory health problems. Dr. Conley will lose his medical license. AG Barr will be disbarred from practicing law. Most of the cabinet Secretaries will be investigated similar to the Nuremberg trials. Stock market manipulators will be exposed. The three eldest Trump children will be fined and jailed along with Jarrod Kushner.
It will take years to eradicate Covid-19 (only half will be vaccinated) and recover the economy. Biden will be the 21st century FDR with unfortunately also its sorrows along with stunning legislations for the future of the USA.

Lots of speculation that Trump is faking Covid for some reason. Of course his pathological lying causes suspicion of anything he says but I suspect that the explanation for the silence coming from the White House is much easier to explain. In a work environment where NOT wearing a mask is practically a requirement Covid is now rampant in both the White House and among his donors, Republicans in Congress and any one else that has come into contact with anyone near them. The truth he wants to hide may be the majority of the executive branch, Republicans in congress, and his campaign staff are under quarantine and unable to do their job. Some may already in the hospital with him. Just a guess.

Not that I ever anticipated on Trump getting convicted or dying in office, but I knew that the Democrats wouldn’t dare to impeach him for his real crimes and they would rely on Russiagate or something like that. However, I never ruled out the scenario of a Mike Pence Presidency.
