Let's use The Bark from Redwood Trees to Prevent Weeds instead of RoundUP! We use Bark in our garden and it works great. AND! It doesn't kill people... It's a One Time Cost for the Farmer and the Money is Kept within the State of California... Currently, a Giant Barge of Redwood Bark and wood chips Leaves Eureka, California Every Week headed for China... We also ship entire logs... They don't want the logs sawed up into boards because they have their own sawmills... and it's cheaper to employ Chinese Slaves to do the Work.

Farmers have to pay for RoundUP every year and The Costs of all those Lawsuits MUST be passed on to the Farmers and the people that buy the Food. AND! We Eat That Poison! We could have healthier Food if we just used Redwood Bark and Wood Chips to Prevent Weeds.

BIOMASS Electric Power Plants Could Dispose of the Millions of Dead Trees in California that are a Fire Hazard. Before we have another Disastrous Wildfire like we had in Paradise last summer, we could remove the fuel from the forests and use it to generate electricity.

"The number of biomass plants, another option for disposing of trees, has fallen to about two dozen from 66 in the 1990s, in part due to the expiration of government price subsidies." - according to the California Energy Commission.

Why not REOPEN those unused BIOMASS plants and clean up our forests before we have a Disaster?

It Took a Couple Of Weeks to Do it... BUT... IT SEEMS TO HAVE WORKED BECAUSE THEY ARE IMPEACHING tRUMP NOW!

Opinion: Go to College! - It Helps prevent Suicide and Opioid Overdoses. Uneducated Middle Aged White Males are killing themselves in record numbers.... WHY?

Because "Hope for the Future" is at an all time low. Many Jobs that do not require a college degree have moved to China. Many Jobs that do not require a college degree wear out your body and leave men unemployable and in constant pain. When I worked at the Welfare Office interviewing people I often met men that had worked in the Lumber Mills, Driving a Truck, Fishermen, Soldiers and Carpenters. They were about 40-50 years old and had experienced an accident that made them unemployable yet too young to retire. Like my brother in law said... "Sooner or later the scaffold will collapse and that's the end of work for a bricklayer." Then you go to the Doctor and get Pain Pills...

A better career is to become an office worker. Sit in an air conditioned cubicle and type on a computer. You can do work like that into your 70's or 80's. HOW? Get a Degree... Be a Nerd...

What Ever Happened To The Dakota Access Pipeline?

This past Friday, the Dakota Access Pipeline quietly celebrated its first anniversary of service. More commonly known as "DAPL", what was once a national flashpoint between law enforcement and fossil fuel opponents has been largely forgotten. Perhaps some have wondered, what has happened with that pipeline in its inaugural year?

Answer: DAPL has been quietly transferring crude oil from the Bakken fields in North Dakota at a rate of over 500,000 barrels per day.

On October 18, 2018 two Standing Rock Sioux Tribe members and a pastor for an Episcopal Church on the reservation filed a class action civil lawsuit against state, county, and private law enforcement in the latest chapter of the Dakota Access pipeline (DAPL) saga.

The plaintiffs allege that these groups were involved in a prolonged effort to blockade North Dakota State Highway 1806 to opponents of the controversial oil pipeline during the most heated protests from late October 2016 through early 2017.

The plaintiffs were Cissy Thunderhawk, Waste'Win Young, and Rev. John Floberg. They filed their lawsuit against Morton County, North Dakota, and its sheriff Kyle Kirchmeier, as well as the current and former North Dakota Governors, Doug Burgum and Jack Dalrymple, respectively, and the private security firm Tigerswan.

I've been visiting the Kinetic Sculpture Race for many years. Every time I take my camera and document on websites the machines. My favorite location is the Manila Community Center. They have a big celebration there with live music, food, a jump balloon for the kids and food. The Sculptures Change their wheels from street tires to sand worthy tires. The next part of the race goes over sand dunes and on the beach. I've walked on the beach there during the race but it's really exhausting so in recent years I've not gone there. My wife never wants to go out to events so for years I've taken photographs for her to enjoy when I get home.
