Have you ever seen Hannity? Or Tucker? Or Jeanine Pirro? They point fingers and state falsehoods... and attract viewers that crave the fear they sell... I usually keep the sound OFF while channel surfing and it's kinda sad to watch them rant and rave. I guess they are upset because their whole world is crumbling and they can't do anything about it...

I saw the "Values Voter Summit" on CSPAN and it was an endless stream of former important people making angry speeches... There was a moment of "OH, There's That GUY!" and then they would display the person's name... and I experienced the Memory Wave of Forgotten Pundits... They really dug up some zombies... Do you remember Michele Bachmann? Well, she is not dead, just ignored... and a Speaker at the "Values Voter Summit" a collection of people telling you what to do.



Republicans Like to Tell People What To Do... and most people do not want to BE TOLD What To Do... We Would Rather Think For Ourselves and Question Authority.

Every Trump Accusation is Really a Confession. For Example: Trump falsely claims that Kamala Harris crowds are AI fakes. ---> AND <--- Trump posts fake AI images of Taylor Swift and Swifties, falsely suggesting he has the singer’s support.

Taylor Swift has yet to endorse any presidential candidate this election cycle. But former President Donald Trump says he accepts the superstar’s non-existent endorsement.

Trump posted “I accept!” on his Truth Social account, along with a carousel of (Swift) images – at least some of which appear to be AI-generated.

One of the AI-manipulated photos depicts Swift as Uncle Sam with the text, “Taylor wants you to vote for Donald Trump.” The other photos depict fans of Swift wearing “Swifties for Trump” T-shirts.

On Sunday, former President Donald Trump posted a collection of memes on Truth Social — the platform owned by his media company — that make it seem like Taylor Swift and her fans are coming out in support of his candidacy. But as new legislation takes effect, these images could have deeper implications about the use of AI-generated images in political campaigns, especially when those images misrepresent a celebrity’s likeness.

AI images posted to Truth Social bore the watermark of a tiny Texas non-profit looking to bankroll X users... 

When Donald Trump shared a slew of AI-generated images this week that falsely depicted Taylor Swift and her fans endorsing his campaign for president, the former US president was amplifying the work of a murky non-profit with aspirations to bankroll rightwing media influencers and a history of spreading misinformation.

Several of the images Trump posted on his Truth Social platform, which showed digitally rendered young women in “Swifties for Trump” T-shirts, were the products of the John Milton Freedom Foundation. Launched last year, the Texas-based non-profit organization frames itself as a press freedom group with the goal of “empowering independent journalists” and “fortifying the bedrock of democracy”.

The group’s day-to-day operations appear to revolve around sharing engagement bait on X and seeking millions from donors for a “fellowship program” chaired by a high school sophomore that would award $100,000 to Twitter personalities such as Glenn Greenwald, Andy Ngo and Lara Logan, according to a review of the group’s tax records, investor documents and social media output. The John Milton Freedom Foundation did not return request for comment to a set of questions about its operations and fellowship program.

After months of retweeting conservative media influencers and echoing Elon Musk’s claims that freedom of speech is under attack from leftwing forces, one of the organization’s messages found its way to Trump and then his millions of supporters.

Disinformation researchers have long warned that generative AI has the ability to lower the bar for creating misleading content and threaten information around elections. After Musk’s xAI company released its largely unregulated Grok image generator last week, there has been a surge of AI content that has included depictions of Trump, Kamala Harris and other political figures. The Milton Freedom Foundation is one of many small groups flooding social media with so-called AI slop.

Hyperion is a coast redwood (Sequoia sempervirens) that was measured at 115.92 m (380.3 ft), which ranks it as the world's tallest known living tree.

Hyperion was discovered on August 25, 2006, by naturalists Chris Atkins and Michael Taylor. It was found in a remote area of Redwood National Park that was part of the original 1968 park boundaries.

It is estimated to be 600 to 800 years old and contain 530 m3 (18,600 cu ft) of wood.

The exact location of Hyperion is nominally secret. However, In July 2022, the Redwood Park superintendent closed the entire area around the tree, citing “devastation of the habitat surrounding Hyperion" caused by visitors, and now anyone who gets too close could face up to six months in jail and a $5,000 fine. Researchers have said that woodpecker activity at the top may have prevented the tree from growing taller.
