BREAKING: The FBI says it stopped an alleged mass casualty attack on Trump’s White House UFC event. And the suspects don't look anything like the people MAGA usually blames.

The Justice Department has charged five men, ages 19 to 32, with allegedly plotting an attack on UFC Freedom 250, the June 14 event held on White House grounds during celebrations for America's 250th anniversary.

According to prosecutors, the group planned to use explosive laden drones to force an evacuation, then position snipers to fire on "high value targets" as crowds fled.

The suspects were identified as Tycen Proper, Bryan Omar Roa, Michael Alan Thomas, Daniel Eskridge, and Abraham Hermosillo Alvarez.

Not antifa. Not transgender activists. Not immigrants. Not Black Lives Matter protesters.

According to court filings, investigators say several members of the group embraced anti government extremism, antisemitic conspiracy theories, and beliefs about secret elites controlling the country. One suspect allegedly told investigators he hoped attacks would create enough chaos to help overthrow the U.S. government.

The investigation began after Proper's mother became alarmed by his behavior, firearms purchases, and online communications and contacted police. The FBI, Secret Service, and other agencies moved in before the plan could be carried out.

The event featured Trump, members of his family, Cabinet officials, Mark Zuckerberg, and thousands of attendees.

The people MAGA constantly warns America about were not the ones allegedly planning this attack. According to prosecutors, the threat came from extremists who shared many of the same conspiracy theories that have been circulating on the far right for years.

Time to call out the hypocrisy.

Turns out there's a reason the Reflecting Pool is green. The no-bid contract for the pool's water-purification system went straight to a company owned by longtime Trump donor and Mar-a-Lago neighbor John Cafaro. No competitive bidding. Just handed to him.

And Cafaro isn't just a donor. He has two prior felony convictions, including a guilty plea for conspiring to bribe a sitting member of Congress.

The total renovation came in at more than $14 million — over seven times Trump's original $1.8 million estimate. Taxpayers footed the bill.

Days after it was finished, the algae came back anyway.

This is what happens when public infrastructure contracts skip the bidding process and go straight to people with a personal relationship to the person in charge. Qualified companies lost out. Taxpayers paid more. And the pool still doesn't work.

Trump promised the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool would be "American flag blue" in time for the country's 250th birthday. He was wrong.

People online are calling it exactly what it looks like: money laundering.

The Ellipse is trashed, the East Wing is rubble, the huge Kennedy Center wall sign is covered with a tarp, the Reflecting Pool “renovation” is peeling & full of algae, the asbestos rubble from the East Wing demolition was dumped onto Haines Point. Not only is Trump NOT making America great again, he’s trashing the very heart of our federal government.

As a former resident of DC/NoVa with fond memories of our nation’s historic capital, what that MAGA asshole is doing to it is unconscionable. And no one IN POWER has the guts to rein him in. After all he recently stated in an interview there are NO checks on what he can do as President.
