Search Engine Optimization. Create Interesting Original Content... Post a Brief Summary and a LINK on Facebook and 12 Other Social Media Platforms... Deliver Worthy Pictures and Stories if USER Clicks on the link provided...

I see that My Blog LOOKS DIFFERENT on a Phone than on a Computer. On a Phone ONLY ONE COLUMN is Visible... The Column with the Blog Posts... On a Computer Both Columns are Visible... The LINKS Column and the Posts Column... Huh... That Makes me want to Include Links to Other Blog Posts in the ONE Column Shown on a phone...

I Submit the URL of Every Blog Post to Google Search Console. There is a Field at the Top of the Page Called Inspect any URL in "gvan42.blogspot.com" - You Must Register Your Blog First... and This Tool only Searches Blogspot Blogs...

I found that another Effective Way to get Listed on GOOGLE Search Was To ADD A LIST OF LINKS to My Other gvan42 Blog Posts at the Bottom Every New Post... In My Blog there are 3,500 Blog Posts and I Can use the POPULAR POSTS GADGET and the BLOG ARCHIVE GADGET to Find Hundreds of LINKS to My Posts...

I Copy and Paste those Links... Look at the Bottom of THIS POST to See What That's Like...  Yes, Real People Can Click on those Links to Read More Posts BUT... Mainly... The Search Engine will Remember all of those Links when Its Spider Crawls the Page... More Links pointing to a page equals Higher SEO Rating... Supposedly... I Feel Certain That ONE Link is Better than Zero Links...

This is Especially Important for Users That are on a Phone... In Google's Infinite "Wisdom" Only One Column is Displayed on a Phone While on a Real Computer Two Columns are Displayed... I Use The Left Hand Column for Links and a Table of Contents and THAT Column is NOT DISPLAYED ON A PHONE... The Right Hand Column Has all the "Content" - My Words and Pictures...

I also Submit My URL to Bing for Every Post... Yahoo, DuckDuckGo and Dogpile use the BING Search Results...

When reading The Newspaper or Facebook I am often Motivated to write a Paragraph about the Subject mentioned... I Post all those Paragraphs on my Blog SOMEWHERE... For Example:
The Sequoia Park Skywalk in Eureka, CA opens soon... Frankly Speaking, I would not go on the swinging metal bridge... ever... Just to Damn Scary... and WHAT IF a bunch of people get on it with me and start jumping up and down IN TIME to make it swing WAY UP and then WAY DOWN? and then we all fall down... NO WAY... a Better Ride would be the SKY Trail at the Trees of Mystery... I wish I Had Bought that ticket... When we were there...  https://treesofmystery.net/sky-trail/

This is NOT an earth shattering Observation or Manifesto but... Original Content is what Google is Looking For when Crawling the Internet, Looking for worthy Webpages... In 2021, Google Does NOT Index EVERY Webpage... ONLY THOSE THAT IT FINDS TO BE WORTHY.

I also review Blog Posts That Google Has Indexed and add a LOT of Content and Links to other Blog Posts of Mine... after all, If Someone FINDS my blog post and actually Visits... I want too make Damn Sure that they Get a Worthy Visit... With enough Original Pictures and Words to Make them Happy They Came...

Proof of Human Cloning

and then I Either WRITE or FIND a Huge Pile of TEXT on Facebook that I Can Copy and Paste into My Own Blog... I Believe that When Google is Crawling for the Subject of my Blog Post it's to My Advantage to Have a Huge Pile of Original Words... Especially if They People Posting State Opinions that I Agree With...

For Example: SE Posted on Facebook: And they wonder why they can't find employees?!? At least this person is being honest about what a horrible work environment this would be. Would you work for someone like this?

Working for Good's is fairly easy as long as you "Work Hard, Be Nice". This is our motto!
I've seen every kind of human being in my 40 years in business. I pretty much know within an hour what kind of employee or if an employee someone is going to be. Most interview very well and it turns out well. Some interview well and it turns out not so well.
I've heard every excuse for not being able to perform here. Every excuse begins with "can't" which translates to "I don't want to". ha! Can you imagine saying to your boss, after you've read and claimed to have understood what is required of you, that you can't do it? Why I would have died before saying that! ha!
We've had the know it all, the complainer, whiner, lazy, manipulative, roamers, hiders, absent or late, liars, haters, clock watchers, willful, controller, passive aggressor, puker ( I'll explain in a moment) and worst of all combined, the splitters.
Splitting is a behavior of girls, young mostly but not always. Usually taught by their mothers. This is the person who talks about others in an attempt to split people apart and feel better about themselves. You know, "so and so said this about you and I couldn't believe it! so and so is so stuck up that she thinks she's better than us". And so it goes. This my friends, is poison in action. These misguided gals have no end game. It's just spreading and stirring all the while believing they are innocent. It's such a common thing among girls. This is where toxicity and drama find their roots.
I'll admit, it's hard to deal with. They are very good at what they do. Many times they are good workers which is even more frustrating. I can also say with certainty, there is no cure. I've tried over the years but they can't fix what they don't believe to be true. They deny it 100% of the time. They call it "helping".
Boys seldom practice this. They just duke it out! ha!
If a splitter can recruit, which is one of her tools, she feels vindicated. If she can't find someone to join her she will leave.
Pukers are those we know, and just like splitters, we all know one, who approach you daily, dump their stuff on you and then go about their business. All they want to do is complain about their stuff to someone who will listen so they can feel normal. They walk away and each time you are left holding this bag of puke. They feel great and you feel, well... like you've been puked on! They are exhausting.
Some of these behaviors we can manage. Most we can't. Since we demand friendliness, courteousness, hard work and more, bad behaviors pop up quickly. It's the worst part of employing folks.
If they make it so far as it reaches me, I free up their future. Most of the time our culture will drum them out. If they can't find reception of their poor behavior they move on.
On the other side of this are the wonderful people we have in our employ. Everyone works hard. Everyone is friendly. They either brought the tools with them or learned our way of doing things. When they hit on what we do, it's a very rewarding thing to see. It's the most joyful experience I have here.
If you enjoy being your best, Good's is for you!

SE Replied: And...it's a candy store. I believe all work is valuable and all who work for a living deserve respect. But still - a candy store. Most candy stores don't expect much from their employees other than giving friendly service to customers and being willing to do whatever stocking or cleaning is also part of the job.

and then I Replied: My First Wife Worked at KarmelKorn, Valley Fair... I went over there to buy a Quarter Pound of Spanish Peanuts Every Day and Eventually asked her on a Date... and then as time went by we Got Married... THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE!
