NAACP sues Trump and Giuliani after Jan. 6 riots.
The lawsuit claims that the former president and his personal lawyer violated the Ku Klux Klan Act by conspiring with white supremacist groups to incite the insurrection.
On the heels of the Senate's acquittal of Donald Trump, the NAACP, Mississippi Rep. Bennie Thompson and civil rights law firm Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll filed a lawsuit against the former president, Rudy Giuliani and two white supremacist groups, citing their role in the Jan. 6 insurrection.
The lawsuit, filed Tuesday morning in Federal District Court for the District of Columbia, alleges that Trump and Giuliani, in collaboration with the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers, conspired to incite the riot to keep Congress from certifying the results of the 2020 presidential election. It claims they did so in violation of the Ku Klux Klan Act, a Reconstruction-era statute designed to protect both formerly enslaved African Americans and lawmakers in Congress from white supremacist violence.
Subpoenas in Trump criminal probe suggest fresh scrutiny of his Seven Springs estate... Manhattan prosecutors conducting a criminal investigation into possible bank, tax and insurance fraud by former President Donald Trump and his company recently subpoenaed documents from an engineer who worked on an expansive property owned by the Trump family in Westchester County, north of New York City.
Seven Springs has also drawn scrutiny from New York Attorney General Letitia James, who is conducting a civil probe into the Trump Organization.
James' office has indicated in court documents it is interested in a 2015 valuation of Seven Springs that factored into a $21.1 million tax deduction taken by Mr. Trump.
Vance's office said in a September court filing that in the past decade, Mr. Trump's valuation of the property ranged from between $25 million and $50 million, to between $261 and $291 million.
As part of his investigation, Vance is seeking Mr. Trump's tax records. The Supreme Court ruled in July that a subpoena of the records was constitutional, but their release was held up by a follow-up appeal on different grounds. The Supreme Court has not yet said if it will hear that appeal.

1 After loving my parents, my siblings, my spouse, my
children and my friends, I have now started loving myself.
2 I have realized that I am not “Atlas”. The world does
not rest on my shoulders.
3 I have stopped bargaining with vegetable & fruit
vendors. A few pennies more is not going to break me,
but it might help the poor fellow save for his daughter’s

4 I leave my waitress a big tip. The extra money might

5 I stopped telling the elderly that they've already

6 I have learned not to correct people even when I know
they are wrong. The onus of making everyone perfect is

are a mood enhancer not only for the recipient but also
for me. And a small tip for the recipient of a compliment,
never, NEVER turn it down, just say "Thank You.”
8 I have learned not to bother about a crease or a spot
on my shirt. Personality speaks louder than appearances.
9 I walk away from people who don't value me. They
might not know my worth, but I do.
10 I remain cool when someone plays dirty to outrun me
in the rat race. I am not a rat and neither am I in any race.
11 I am learning not to be embarrassed by my emotions.
It’s my emotions that make me human.
12 I have learned that it's better to drop the ego than to
break a relationship. My ego will keep me aloof, whereas,
with relationships, I will never be alone.
13 I have learned to live each day as if it's the last. After
all, it might be the last.
14 I am doing what makes me happy. I am responsible for
my happiness, and I owe it to myself. Happiness is a choice. You can be happy at any time, just choose to be!
I decided to share this with all my friends. Why do we
have to wait to be 60 or 70 or 80, why can't we practice
this at any stage and age?

and My friend asked me why I would want to check out
that book and I said: "Too Look for Pictures of Myself." and
then I woke up and Typed this Document... It's Best to
Type it Up before I forget it... For Certain, I would have
tried to help any Lost Old Man but It seems Important that
I Offered Ram Dass Help in my dream. That's One Of His
Main Teachings... Helping People...

Dancing... It's a Powerful Stimulant so We Had NO TROUBLE Walking the 2700 Foot Change in Elevation...
Then we Rode the Double Decker Bus Around the Park to
the Mist Trail. We Sat on the Top Layer of the Bus...
It Had No Ceiling... Truly one of the Most Fabulous
Adventures POSSIBLE... Outdoors on a Magic Carpet
Looking Up at Half Dome...

The Next Night We were Sitting Around a Campfire
Singing Songs and Smoking Marijuana and a Park Ranger
Ran out of the Darkness and Arrested ME... He said I'm
Gonna Charge You with "Disturbing the Peace" but You
Have to Leave the Park Tomorrow... or I'll Change the
Charge to "Possession of Marijuana" SO... We Left... and I
Paid a $35 Dollar Fine... I'm Sure Glad the Ranger Didn't
Attack Me When I was High on LSD... That Would Have
Been a BUMMER!
In Fact HE WAS DISTURBING THE PEACE... I was Playing

the Mountains was Easy... and Privacy WAS Important
Because We Didn't Want to Meet any Rangers!
On that Day We All Climbed up a "Chimney" in the Granite Rock... a Place where the Rock has Split apart and The
Mountain Climber Puts one Foot on One Side and The
Other Foot on the Other Side and Just Behaves Like
Spiderman!
Later That Day I Accidentally Slipped into The River...
I was Walking Along the Edge watching the Water Bubble
UP in a Large Pool... Quite Pretty! That Swim Could Have
been Fatal as I was Upstream from a Giant Waterfall...
However, as Luck would Have It, I Was Washed to a
Place where I Could Climb Out...
A Total Gift From God... I Was Totally Out of Control and
The Current of the River Made All Survival Choices For
Me... When I Was At The Bottom of The Pool, I Relaxed and Accepted Death... and Then I Was Spared!
Everything Since Then is a Blessing!
