Recently, I've been visited between 40,000 and 80,000 times A DAY on my Blog... Where the visitors come from: Brazil, USA, India, Vietnam, Bangladesh, France, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Pakistan, and OTHER

It Appears that Most Visits are from AI Computers that are Scrubbing my Blog to Train their Large language Model Machines... Since I've been writing since the late 1990s there's a lot of language on this blog...  And all of that traffic has got to cost Google a lot of money. They have to purchase servers and electricity and water...  I figure that it's not just my blog, it's everyone's blog, and that's a gigantic amount of pointless effort... 

 Thinking about Brazil... When I went to college one of my professors also taught samba parade drumming as a class... In the music department... And one of the summer school Adventures that he led was a trip to Brazil to See the real Samba Parades Live... 

Brazil has become famous for the Psychedelic Drug Ayahuasca...  It's an organic natural form of the drug DMT... Popular in the 1960s hippie culture as a 30 minute trip... For people that didn't want to take 12 hour LSD trip...  This form of the psychedelic last a long time and most famous for introducing you alien creatures from another dimension... Kind of like a UFO abduction...

What I found odd about this history lesson was that there was no mention of The Madness of King George III... She did an entire show about his insanity and how everybody blamed him for losing the war...

at that time there were merchants that were buying tea in India for very little money and then shipping it to America and making a big profit... Well the Stamp Act and the Boston Tea Party screwed up that whole business! They also bought tobacco and cotton in the American South and shipped it to England... And beaver hats from the North... John Jacob Astor became the richest man in America selling Beaver skins... 

The country of France was having a revolution in 1789 and the Monarchy had their Heads Cut Off with a Guillotine... Somehow King George IV convinced the people of England that having a King was a Good Idea! 

Benjamin Franklin wore a Coon Skin Cap and a homespun fabric shirt when he called on the King of France to ask for help fighting the British... Weapons, gunpowder, Uniforms... The French had been fighting the English forever and were glad to join in... Quite a different look for Benjamin Franklin because he spent the last decade as an ambassador between the colonies and Great Britain and he spent most of his time with the ruling class... Fancy clothes... Powdered wigs... Royalty...

and the conclusion was that the colonies would have lost the American Revolution without the French helping... 

"The Vietnam War by Ken Burns" - TV Show - 18 hours! Since It was The Major Event of my childhood... It was quite important to learn the accurate history... Starting in 1850 with the country of France invading Vietnam and making it a colony... I LOVE PBS

I donated $100 and that unlocked "My Passport" so I can watch any PBS show at any time...

I did not go to Vietnam. Since I turned 18 in 1972 I was required to register for the draft but was NOT called to serve... Very lucky for me... 

There's a lot of film of President Kennedy, Johnson and Nixon... One little known fact is that Kennedy planned to end the war entirely in 1965. And he signed a Presidential Directive... Of course, since he was assassinated... That plan did not happen... It makes me wonder about the motive for the Kennedy assassination... Dow Chemical made a fortune selling Napalm and Agent Orange to the US Military and so if Kennedy ended the war they would lose a lot of business... Possible motive... 

There was no mention in this documentary of the burning of the Bank of America in Isla Vista near the University of California Santa Barbara... An event that happened when my brother was a student there... 






But I am "in" the documentary... I went to "The Moratorium" and marched in San Francisco and eventually ended up at the polo fields... We chartered a bus from Los Gatos High School, cut class, and then protested... The next day we were all called into the principal's office... And he told us that there would be no punishment for cutting class... And that we should think about why...
