Memorial Day Weekend!

My Favorite Place to watch the Race is the Manila Cultural Center where they Change Tires From Street to Sand... and there is a Rock Concert, a Kiddie Bounce and Food... See the Sculptures Up Close. If You Can, walk over to the Beach and watch the Sculptures travel along the coast and then UP a Sand Dune (quite difficult) and DOWN Dead Man's Drop. (even more difficult)

When we smile, our brain releases tiny molecules called neuropeptides to help fight off stress. Other neurotransmitters like dopamine, serotonin and endorphins come into play too when we smile as well! These chemicals are relased when we fake smile or fake laugh because our brain can't differentiate between what's real or what's fake because it interprets the positioning of the facial muscles in the same way!
If you don't feel like smiling you can place a pencil in your mouth and that's a sign for the brain that says, "Oh, these muscles are activated, that means we are happy", and wooosh! Chemicals are released. - found on The Larisa Stow FaceBORG Group.

and then a guy on FaceBORG Said: I moved to San Francisco from the burbs in 1982. I brought with me my old bike, a Schwinn Varsity 10 speed road bike that was heavy as hell. I moved into my recording studio in a basement at 16th and Guerrerro, underneath Sefi’s Restaurant. I loved riding thru out the city early in the morning before most people were awake starting about 4:30 AM. At that time, the streets were mostly empty, void of people rushing to work or taking kid’s to school, or city trucks and busses getting ready for the day’s chores. I road up one hill and down another. Russian Hill, Coit Tower, the Embarcadero, down piers watching fishing boats up loading the catch of the day, Crissy Field, cross the Golden Gate Bridge, ride thru Golden Gate park and it’s lakes, rode the length of Ocean Beach, sometimes up Sloat, passing the Zoo and Doggie Diner, circled Lake Merced, or cruised the Mission District. There’s just too many sections of the city to keep listing. I loved exploring with hardly anyone around…. totally peaceful and meditative San Francisco. The one thing I didn’t do, was ride down Market Street in rush hour traffic or zip around like the wild bike messengers that I almost hit in my car several times as they yelled obscenities at me. Well it’s Monday and I’m home in Santa Cruz taken my first sip! Good morning!
