Murdered by Gunshot: Gandhi, JFK, RFK, MLK, John Lennon, Kurt Cobain, Terry Kath, Columbine and 17 High School Students in Florida... and... Near Miss: Ronald Reagan and George Wallace. Is This Not Madness?

Outlaw Guns, Collect Guns, Melt Guns. It's Not Complicated.

Outlaw Guns, Collect Guns, Melt Guns. It's Not Complicated.

Remember:

GUNS DO NOT SAVE LIVES...

They Make Your Family Less Safe.  Suicides, Accidents and Murder by Family Members VASTLY Outnumber The Lives Saved by Defending Your Family from "Bad Guys."

If Your Plan of Owning a Gun to Defend Your Family WORKED IN REALITY I Would Be In Favor of it. But Sadly, It Doesn't.

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/9715182/

"Conclusions: Guns kept in homes are more likely to be involved in a fatal or nonfatal accidental shooting, criminal assault, or suicide attempt than to be used to injure or kill in self-defense."

People Who PROFIT From Gun Sales Have Been Publishing FALSE Information To Frighten People Into Buying More Guns. The NRA Sells Memberships... Their Trick is to Scream Danger Danger You Need a Gun... Gullible Members of the Public are FOOLED...

Outlaw Guns, Collect Guns, Melt Guns. It's Not Complicated.

Why was it possible to outlaw the Thompson Machine Gun but these days we can't outlaw Assault Rifles?  In 1934 we outlawed Machine guns because of Public Outrage about Chicago Gangland Murders like The St. Valentine Day Massacre.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Title_II_weapons Title II of the Gun Control Act of 1968 is a revision of the National Firearms Act of 1934, and pertains to machine guns, short or "sawed-off" shotguns and rifles, and so-called "destructive devices" (including grenades, mortars, rocket launchers, large projectiles, and other heavy ordnance). Acquisition of these weapons is subject to prior approval of the Attorney General, and federal registration is required for possession. Generally, a $200 tax is imposed upon each transfer or making of any Title II weapon.

We have Gangland Murders Today in Chicago, Baltimore, Washington DC and other Cities...

#NeverAgain

We Outlawed Machine Guns in 1934... Why NOT Outlaw Assault Rifles?. #NeverAgain - We could end the Killing if we just Collected all the GUNS and Melted them... It would be a Great Source of Free American Metal... Handy for Building Cars OR Washing Machines!

and now for something completely different!

Sandy Erickson Said: I've noticed that people often look at old pictures from past decades, like the 70's and 80's, and they laugh at the way people look in those pictures and make comments like, "I can't believe we wore our hair like that!" or "I can't believe we wore those clothes!" I was a teenager in the 80's, so I was old enough that I clearly remember when people wore those clothes and hairstyles - and everyone looked great! If you watch a movie from the 80's, you'll see what I mean. Same with the 70's. People love to make jokes about 70's fashion, but people looked great in the 70's when they wore those fashions! Watch movies from the 70's and 80's, and you'll see what I mean. Those fashions may look dated now, but people looked gorgeous in those fashions back then! I remember some of my outfits from the 80's, and they were FABULOUS! And I appreciate the fact that straight hair is in style now because it was extremely time-consuming to get 80's hair out of my naturally straight, fine hair....but I spent hours getting my hair to hold a curl in the 80's, and it didn't look stupid, it looked great! And I've always loved the fashions of the 70's. I wore bell bottoms and vintage 70's dresses in the 90's, and it looked great! Some day people will look at pictures from the 20-teens and 2020's, and they'll laugh and wonder how we thought we looked good in the ridiculous hairstyles and clothes that we wore. For some reason, people have a tendency to forget that things don't become stylish because they're ugly, they become stylish because they're beautiful! And just because new things come along and become stylish, that doesn't make the old styles any less beautiful! Watch some movies from the 70's and 80's - or better yet, watch some music videos from the 80's, and you'll see that people looked gorgeous in those clothes and hairstyles!

VK Replied: I'll admit I do think the 80s has a very distinguished hairstyle with people wearing these large owl glasses, but I've noticed that fashion keeps getting recycled. Like about 10+ years ago bell bottoms were in again and now the high waisted pants and crop tops are back in. I'm personally not a fan of the high waisted stuff with crop tops because I hate having anything right around my waist. Now tie dye is also super in again too. LOL

SE Replied: Yeah, everything comes back in style eventually...but I've noticed that certain things never really go out of style. Like, in one of my mid-century groups, someone shared a photo of some young women in the 60's wearing plaid miniskirts, and I had skirts exactly like that in the 80's, 90's, and I even have one now! It's a look which never went out of style, but when you see a picture from the 60's, the picture looks dated, but people actually still wear skirts like that and probably always will.

RB Replied: after WWII the navy pants were popular that was the first big bells. Then Levi made the big bell. Later in the 70s the flared came out. The same but it was tight above the knee and then flared out to the shoe but not as big as a bell.

RB Replied: In the disco days I was a young adult in my 20s. I wore one night white pants with platform shoes, colorful silk shirt, a white jacket and a scarf with a ring. And sported an Afro. Before that in the sixtys as a kid we wore nothing but old worn out Levi’s flared or big bell with leather and such patches . And a white tee shirt with a Derby Jacket and a beanie oh and cause we were Italian a gold luck horn necklace. Lol oh and desert boots.

and Then I Said: I Remember that in 1969 my mother sewed me a NEHRU Collared Shirt with Bell Sleeves... and I Wore a Real Bell Around my Neck... I Think it was Called "Mod" - Like the Fashion of London during the Beatle Years... I also made my own Tie Dyed T-Shirts Using RIT DYE and Rubber Bands... Remember That The "Rainbow Spiral Design of Tie Dye T-Shirts HAD NOT BEEN INVENTED YET. RIT DYE Required Boiling Water and Salt... See This Example:

Jerry in the Middle in a Classic Sixties Tie Dye T-Shirt - made with rubber bands and RIT DYE - Boiling in Salty Water

Harvey and Me... Relaxing on the Sofa At Home

For a Halloween Costume at work we all dressed up as the TV Game Show "Deal or No Deal". My Task was to Make Fake Money. My Printer at Home Refused to Print the Money because it SOMEHOW KNEW that I was attempting to Counterfeit... so I Told my Boss That I Couldn't print money. She took a Disk of my artwork to Kinko's and They Printed a Hundred Fake Bills with our Boss's Face on them. Big Success! People all over the office complex kept those bills and thumb tacked them to their cubical walls... and Dr. Crandall Himself Reportedly Loved the Fake Money with His Picture on it. My Printer Printed Half a Bill and then Stopped... and printed a Website URL "for help" ... So I Typed that URL into my Computer and There Was NO Actual Help... Now I'm Registered with the Secret Service as a Failed Counterfeiter because I visited That website...

Fake Money I Printed for a Halloween Costume at Work.

Deal or No Deal Halloween Costume at the Office

Fashion History: When I went "to Town" in the 1960s (San Francisco) I was wearing My High School Sports Letterman Sweater... When we went out to a Dance at the Fillmore West, My Friend Loaned my a Second Hand Army Jacket... So I Would Appear Cool...Remember Army Jackets? Like Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band...

and then much later I bought a Lightweight Camouflage Jacket and Sewed Stripes Running Down The Sleeves made out of Purple Sequins... With a Circle at the End of the Sleeve... My Attempt to Make a Sgt. Pepper Jacket...

My Goal in Life was to Become a Record Cover Artist... OOPS... Didn't Happen... Became a Draftsman at a Computer Company Instead... BUT... I Did Get To SELL DRAWINGS FOR A LIVING... My specialty was Printed Circuit Board Artwork. It was Photographed and Used to Make the Actual Electrical Connections between Integrated Circuits... I Learned that Skill at West Valley Junior College in Saratoga, CA

Generate Electricity and Clean Drinking Water AT THE SAME TIME. A Solar Powered Desalinization Plant Would Convert Seawater into Energy, Pure H2O and NaCl. Please Pass this Idea on to Your Elected officials... Massive Federal Funding Needed.

There has been a LOT of Groundbreaking Engineering into building Desalinization Plants that use Solar Power to Pump the Seawater out of the Ocean and use MEMBRANE PURIFICATION to actually remove the salt... That's the same Reverse Osmosis Technology that is used at the Drinking Water Machines you see in front of Liquor Stores...

We ought to tell our Senators and Representatives that Solar Powered Desalinization is a Good Idea and a Practical Way to Solve The Problem of Not Enough Fresh Water for Drinking, Showering, Watering Crops, Filling Swimming Pools, Lawns and Making Ice Cubes for a Scotch on the Rocks...

Maybe they just don't know...
