I Tried Watching the New "West Side Story" Movie Musical but Turned it off After the First Song. I found that I did not Like Juvenile Delinquents "The Jets" OR "The Sharks" and the Best Solution Would Be to Simply Lock 'em Up and Throw Away the Key... and the Regular People That Lived in That Neighborhood would be Grateful! Not really that interested in Interracial dating either... One Gang had Ancestors from Poland and the Other Gang Came from Puerto Rico... Seems Like people ought to date whoever they want... Unfortunately back then I was hurting after having suffered a huge trauma of family loss which created severe mental illness at the time (i just snapped basically) and went down a really difficult path. I lost everything (of my own doing no one to blame) so when I wanted to get my life together and live again I went there. Thing is, I got j judged and I do mean judged. .. not by the organization but by the leadership there. Maybe it was just my perception etc but when i looked into the actual organization I think I just have hang ups about hierarchy, people vying for higher up positions even preachers being put on pedestals etc. but yes i hear you and think that's great for you! it does seem like a better option than a lot of others i checked out.

And I've always loved the fashions of the 70's. I wore bell bottoms and vintage 70's dresses in the 90's, and it looked great! Some day people will look at pictures from the 20-teens and 2020's, and they'll laugh and wonder how we thought we looked good in the ridiculous hairstyles and clothes that we wore. For some reason, people have a tendency to forget that things don't become stylish because they're ugly, they become stylish because they're beautiful! And just because new things come along and become stylish, that doesn't make the old styles any less beautiful! Watch some movies from the 70's and 80's - or better yet, watch some music videos from the 80's, and you'll see that people looked gorgeous in those clothes and hairstyles!

VK Replied: I'll admit I do think the 80s has a very distinguished hairstyle with people wearing these large owl glasses, but I've noticed that fashion keeps getting recycled. Like about 10+ years ago bell bottoms were in again and now the high waisted pants and crop tops are back in. I'm personally not a fan of the high waisted stuff with crop tops because I hate having anything right around my waist. Now tie dye is also super in again too. LOL

SE Replied: Yeah, everything comes back in style eventually...but I've noticed that certain things never really go out of style. Like, in one of my mid-century groups, someone shared a photo of some young women in the 60's wearing plaid miniskirts, and I had skirts exactly like that in the 80's, 90's, and I even have one now! It's a look which never went out of style, but when you see a picture from the 60's, the picture looks dated, but people actually still wear skirts like that and probably always will.

RB Replied: after WWII the navy pants were popular that was the first big bells. Then Levi made the big bell. Later in the 70s the flared came out. The same but it was tight above the knee and then flared out to the shoe but not as big as a bell. 

RB Replied: In the disco days I was a young adult in my 20s. I wore one night white pants with platform shoes, colorful silk shirt, a white jacket and a scarf with a ring. And sported an Afro. Before that in the sixtys as a kid we wore nothing but old worn out Levi’s flared or big bell with leather and such patches . And a white tee shirt with a Derby Jacket and a beanie oh and cause we were Italian a gold luck horn necklace. Lol oh and desert boots.

My Printer at Home Refused to Print the Money because it SOMEHOW KNEW that I was attempting to Counterfeit... so I Told my Boss That I Couldn't print money. She took a Disk of my artwork to Kinko's and They Printed a Hundred Fake Bills with our Boss's Face on them. Big Success! People all over the office complex kept those bills and thumb tacked them to their cubical walls... and Dr. Crandall Himself Reportedly Loved the Fake Money with His Picture on it. My Printer Printed Half a Bill and then Stopped... and printed a Website URL "for help" ... So I Typed that URL into my Computer and There Was NO Actual Help... Now I'm Registered with the Secret Service as a Failed Counterfeiter because I visited That website... 

Fashion History: When I went "to Town" in the 1960s (San Francisco) I was wearing My High School Sports Letterman Sweater... When we went out to a Dance at the Fillmore West, My Friend Loaned my a Second Hand Army Jacket... So I Would Appear Cool...Remember Army Jackets? Like Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band... 

and then much later I bought a Lightweight Camouflage Jacket and Sewed Stripes Running Down The Sleeves made out of Purple Sequins... With a Circle at the End of the Sleeve... My Attempt to Make a Sgt. Pepper Jacket...
