On Aug. 10, 2022, President Biden signed into law the Honoring our Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics (PACT) Act of 2022.
Section 804 of this law is the Camp Lejeune Justice Act (CLJA) of 2022, which allows people — including Veterans — previously exposed to contaminated water at Camp Lejeune to file a new claim with the Department of the Navy.
Individuals may seek relief in Federal court for a claim that is denied or no decision is made six (6) months after a claim is filed.

The ICE budget got a massive increase under the budget bill. The version of the legislation SIGNED INTO LAW would allocate at least $29.85 billion to Immigration and Customs Enforcement until Sept. 30, 2029, with an additional $45 billion appropriated to the agency for detention facilities. In total, that amounts to nearly $75 billion.
That's one piñata where you don't need the incentive of candy to wail on it with a bat.
It's Day 1 at 'Alligator Alcatraz,' the immigration detention center located in the Florida Everglades, composed of large tents and refurbished FEMA trailers. 28,000 feet of razor wire surround the 39 square mile site. The site will open with 1,000 beds, though the state says operations could scale soon to 3,000 beds.
It was built in just a few days. The first year of operations are expected to cost $450 million, and it will be used to house mostly people with NO criminal record…in cages.

Most cities flooded with Americans who still understand we don’t crown kings here. While one man staged his fantasy parade, the nation turned its back. The speeches in the streets drowned out the tanks. Okay, I was listening to Ari Melber and he is saying that sources are telling him that TFG is prepping to announce his 2024 campaign for President. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that a second tRump term would be 4 years of total revenge. Against his political foes and the 81 million people that voted him out of office. I also have no doubt that if he won, it would be the last election in this country for quite some time.
So as I see it, there are only two ways (possibly three, but I'm not going there) to keep that from happening.
The first way would be if he was to die of natural causes. But I have it on reliable info. that God doesn't want him and Satan doesn't want the competition.
So, the second way is, we have to turn out in record numbers for these midterms. We have to retain the House and build our majority in the Senate. If we can do that, then for the next two years we have to demand that the filibuster be abolished, the Supreme Court either be cleansed or enlarged and voting rights secured. And most importantly of all, we have to stop pretending that it can't happen here. Because it is as I type these words.
