If you shower every day but don't wash your hair every day, how do you keep your hair dry in the shower? And how to do get rid of the "slept-in" look without getting your hair wet? 99% of the time, I wash mine every day in the shower. I only skipped today because I have a hair appointment this afternoon, and my hair will get washed there, so I didn't see any reason to wash it twice. Any time I skip washing it, I clip it up on top of my head and put a shower cap over it. This mostly works, but the area around the hairline still gets wet when I wash my face in the shower. And when I take my hair down out of the clip and brush it out, it still has a slept-in look to it. I'll probably just have it clipped back all day to hide the slept-in look until I get to the salon this afternoon.
But I see women all the time whose hair looks PERFECT every day, and apparently a lot of them DON'T wash their hair daily, so how do they keep their hair looking so perfect after sleeping on it? Is there a trick to it that I've just never figured out, or does it have to do with the type of hair? My hair is very straight and fine, so it takes on a creased look after I've slept on it, and the only way to get rid of the creased look is to get my hair wet. And oil builds up quickly in my hair and weighs it down, making it look limp and greasy, so most days it's just easier to wash it because that takes care of both the slept-in look and the oil buildup. I just shampoo once and condition, then rinse out the conditioner and I'm good to go.

I love the shower head on the end of a long tube... it allows me to focus the stream of water at needed locations... I just clip mine up. Sometimes parts get a little wet. Must be a hair texture thing...I wash mine every 5 or 6 days... it doesn't even look good until it's a day or two dirty. Dyed and curly/wavy. Would be a bigger frizzy mess it I washed more often.and SE Replied:
Yeah, mine quickly gets weighed down by dirt and grease. You can really see when I’ve skipped a day of washing because it looks limp and genuinely dirty.
