Here in Humboldt we're missing our neighbor and friend Gilberto "Rudy" Jimenez Gonzales who was detained by ICE in Wyoming on July 15 and was since then transferred to a GEO group owned ICE detention facility in Aurora, Colorado where an outbreak of tuberculosis is spreading. Rudy has lived in Eureka for nearly 40 years, has raised his family, paid taxes, and never committed any crime. Rudy is a loving father and grandfather and deserves to be reunited with his family. On July 7, Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was shot and killed by an ICE agent in Houston while driving a work van with his crew. On July 13, ICE fatally shot 26-year-old Johan Sebastian Guerrero in Biddeford, Maine — his wife and toddler forced to witness his murder.

I was a devoted member of MAGA nation for seven years; it made me feel I was part of something important: a movement that was trying to save American democracy.
But starting in 2021, I realized I had been mistaken. It took me a full year to finally break away. During that time, I came to understand that MAGA is sustained by a series of myths that are intended to create perpetual feelings of desperation and panic.

Asked what evidence proves the California election is rigged, Mike Johnson replied, "Look, some of these efforts are so diabolical and so far upstream it's impossible to prove. But I think everybody instinctively knows that something is wrong here."
We know EXACTLY what's wrong here. You're crying it's rigged because you're LOSING. The real upstream diabolical schemes are the SAVE Act, trying to force the USPS to deliver ballots selectively based on Trump's lists, and having the SCOTUS gut the Voting Rights Act and allow states to re-district in the middle of elections!
You're complaining about a Democratic candidate beating a Republican candidate in a city where registered Republicans are VASTLY outnumbered by registered Democrats and Independents. It's just math, dude.
