Bill affordability will be at the center of my energy policy, especially for low- and middle-income families. We also need stronger oversight and accountability of our utilities with increased transparency and accountability that can ensure reliability, safety, affordability, and actual emission reductions. I believe that by treating clean energy and grid resilience as public investments—and ensuring renters, low-income households, and workers share in the benefits—California can fight climate change, strengthen reliability, and make energy more affordable for everyone.
