A little story about the Eagles and my YouTube videos... I played the guitar and sang the songs Hotel California and Witchy Woman... And then posted those cover versions on my YouTube channel... And the lawyer from the Eagles Corporation made me delete those videos... I guess they were afraid that I'd be taking away views from their own versions... I just did it cuz I thought they were epic songs... But I deleted them anyway... Made me realize that the Eagles Corporation was a bunch of freaks... Corporate weirdos... 

And then I made a bunch of videos of Grateful Dead songs... And entered them in a contest sponsored by the Grateful Dead to see who could do the best cover versions and post them... They love it when people sing their songs... Because people will be singing their songs hundreds of years from now... After all of the band members are in the grave... Just like how people play Mozart and Beethoven and Bach hundreds of years later... Their music will be part of the fabric of humanity... For maybe a thousand years!

I make an effort to put false information on the internet about who I am and where I live and how old I am and all that stuff... I go by the false name: Greg Laan - because my brother told me that in the country of Holland there are so many people named Van Der whatever that the phone books just do not sort names alphabetically... Using the Van Der... They just used the last word... In my case, Lawn... 

For some unknown reason I'm listed on many spam email lists as Gregory Van Buskirk... I don't know how they got that name... But it's absolutely certain that it's spam being emailed to thousands of people from a corrupted list... Haha!

Anyway... When asked where I live, I always say Eureka, California... Because I did live there about 10 years ago... And when they ask where I was born... I say Los Gatos, California... Which is false because I moved to Los Gatos when I was 6 years old... I was actually born in a different place... Just recently I managed to delete my date of birth from my Faceborg page... Why would I ever want to publish that? 

I often misspell my last name... Using the word for an area of grass out in front of the house... A Lawn... 

Is it a Good Idea to Allow People to Sell Artificial Intelligence Art? Zazzle lets AI Art to be Used to Make Decorated Gifts... T-shirts, Coffee Cups, Hats... I know because I do it on my store!

A more troubling question is "Should I publish AI art for sale?" I certainly can voluntarily choose to NOT publish AI art for sale... The only thing that soothes my conscience is the fact that I donate all royalties to The Save the Redwood League or PBS... I don't think that artificial intelligence is a good idea but...

For your information: Zazzle has strict copyright infringement rules and will simply remove a product if it violates their standards... And they will email you a notice that says: "Stop doing that!" - If you feel you've been banished unfairly... You can ask for an appeal... But I've never asked for an appeal because they were obviously correct...

I was selling embroidered slogan hats that said "Make America Greta Again" - and they said... "Don't do that... You're making money off of someone else's name."- So I stopped doing that... I see their point... If Greta Thunberg wanted to sell hats she would get her own Zazzle store...

It made me question the whole idea about copyright infringement... Obviously if a picture has been paid for by taxpayers there's no copyright... That means official photos by NASA... Pictures of politicians... But not newspaper pictures of politicians... The flag is OK... Logos of government agencies: CIA, FBI, DOJ, DOD, DARPA, NSA and EIEIO...

Recently the copyright expired on the Mickey Mouse cartoon of him as a captain of a boat... So I don't know if I can sell this art or not! I think I'll test the system by making a t-shirt... Of course, I won't include any words on my page like: Mickey Mouse... Rainbow Mickey... Walt... Disney... Epcot... So the only way that Zazzle will know that I'm doing art that looks like Mickey Mouse is if they employ a Human or Google to look at the picture...
