I have never seen an Outer Space Alien or a UFO but... One time I thought I did... but it turned out to be entirely explainable... I was driving down the road in Northern Virginia when I saw odd lights in the sky right at sunset... So I chased them... And when I was right underneath them, I got out of the car and looked up and that's when I heard the motorcycle engine in the sky... It was an ultralight airplane with car headlights... Basically a hang glider with a two-cycle engine... I was totally fooled until I found out the actual answer...

The thing about the story of Ezekiel in the Bible is it could be entirely explained by psychedelic drugs... I personally have seen things that were extremely strange but entirely explainable... If you eat a pill or a mushroom or a cactus then you see things that aren't there... That's the basic fundamental function of psychedelics... Even if you truly believe they actually happened... You buy the ticket you take the ride!

Whenever I think of Shiva, I remember the Fusion reactor experiment at Lawrence Livermore Laboratory... They had 20 giant laser beams all pointed at a drop of heavy water and the idea was to make the hydrogen fuse into helium... And 50 years later it still doesn't work... But they keep on saying they're trying and we're getting closer and closer to actual Fusion that would be able to be used as an energy source for electricity...


And the actual machine at Lawrence Livermore Laboratory was used as the set for the science fiction movie Tron... They needed a futuristic looking set and so they just rented the Shiva machine for an afternoon...

I'm doing my part to boycott everything all of the time... The only thing I buy anymore is food and shelter... and a monthly phone & internet bill... I leave the house and travel four times a year. Every 6 months I go to the doctor for a checkup and every 6 months I get a blood test. But it's important that I don't buy anything from Walmart or Amazon. I use LYFT to travel the five miles to my appointments... When I voted for governor this year I chose the mayor of San Jose instead of Tom's Tire... Cuz I keep on seeing these TV ads that say that Tom's Tire made his billion dollars doing evil stuff... And I got to figure that anybody that's got a billion dollars did a lot of horrible things to the world in order to get the money... Every single one...

I can never forgive Amazon for buying the Washington Post newspaper... That used to be a great newspaper but now it's just Republican propaganda...

I have a personal beef with Walmart... I used to order delivered food but then they snuck in an extra $10 long distance travel charge... I know that the Walmart is about 3 mi from home... But they voluntarily select to put the order together in Vacaville... Which is a long distance... But that's their choice... And so I choose to not shop there.

I've noticed that Uber is sponsoring political advertisements on TV... Why in the hell would I want to spend money at some Corporation that's doing that?

Did you know that the majority of the soldiers in the Vietnam War were volunteers? How is that possible?

I think it's just proof that the MK Ultra brainwashing program was a success... And those young people that volunteered for to go kill people for no reason were mind control robots... I have never actually met a volunteer but I meant many veterans that served in Vietnam... And I meant many people that protested against the war... But I guess the same people that currently are MAGA Morons were volunteers then...

Another alternative for volunteers is... Those people grew up listening to their fathers talk about what they did in World War II... And how when the country really needed help... They went over there and killed the Nazis and the Japanese... Saving America... And then when Vietnam came around those people thought that this this was their chance to save America... From dangerous yellow people...

Pete Hegseth — Secretary of War Crimes, self-proclaimed Christian warrior, man who tattooed "Deus Vult" (God wills it, the battle cry of the Crusades) on his body — led a prayer service at the Pentagon and solemnly recited what he called "Ezekiel 25:17."

There's just one problem.

That's not a Bible verse. That's a Quentin Tarantino script.

The "prayer" Secretary of War Crimes Hegseth read is Samuel L. Jackson's famous monologue from Pulp Fiction — a speech the character Jules Winnfield delivers right before he executes someone. Jules himself admits in the film that he never actually looked it up. He recited it because, and I quote, "I thought it was just a cold-blooded thing to say to a motherf---er before you popped a cap in his ass."

Hegseth didn't know the difference.

The actual Ezekiel 25:17 is one sentence long. One sentence. The man could have opened any Bible — they're literally free — or Googled it in 4 seconds. But he didn't, because this was never about the Bible. It was never about faith. It was about performance. It was about vibes. It was about using the aesthetics of Christianity as a prop, the way his boss holds up a Bible he's never read for a photo-op outside a church he teargassed peaceful protesters to reach.

And this is the perfect metaphor for this entire administration.

They don't read. They don't study. They don't believe — not really. They just make things up that sound authoritative, recite them with confidence, and trust that their base won't check. Whether it's economic policy, immigration law, Constitutional precedent, or apparently Scripture — it's all vibes and fabrication all the way down.

Christianity — a faith centered on caring for the poor, welcoming the stranger, and loving your enemy — has been hijacked and weaponized into a shield for white nationalist imperialism. For mass deportations. For bombing campaigns blessed with fake Bible verses. For a "Religious Liberty Commission" that exists to give powerful people the right to discriminate, not to protect the vulnerable.

The ICE Killers have not been arrested.

It appears that the FBI and the DOJ's main purpose is to protect criminals... When I was a kid they were all about Law Enforcement... but No Longer! Now, they're pedo protectors!

YES! SORRY, TRUMP! National Public Radio announces a massive influx of private donations after Trump slashed their funding — including the largest gift by a living donor in NPR's history.

$113 million just flowed into America's most crucial public broadcasting organization....

“I support NPR because an informed public is the bedrock of our society, and democracy requires strong, independent journalism,” said philanthropist Connie Ballmer, who donated over $80 million. “My hope is that this commitment provides the stability and the spark NPR needs to innovate boldly and strengthen its national network.”

The influx of cash also included $33 million from an anonymous donor. NPR intends to use the money to “help expand audience connection, accelerate digital transformation, and increase the sustainability of the national NPR Network.”

NPR’s President and CEO Katherine Maher said the donations are a “remarkable investment” that will keep the organization humming along for years.

These donations are a godsend after Trump pushed his MAGA-controlled Congress to gut over $1 billion in federal funds from NPR and PBS last summer. Both organizations have long been a target for a Republican Party that is fully aware that a well-informed public hurts their electoral chances.

Conservatives regularly accuse NPR of having a "liberal bias" but the truth is that reality has an anti-conservative bias. Simply reporting on the facts of the world is the surest way to dismantle the racist, paranoid, plutocratic assumptions that form the nucleus of the right-wing worldview. When you believe that climate change is a Chinese hoax and that Donald Trump is an upstanding Christian gentleman, neutral reporting starts to look left-wing.

Although these donations are incredibly welcome, we can't rely solely on private benefactors to keep NPR afloat. When Democrats retake power, we must pump funding back into NPR and PBS — not only restoring what they once received, but increasing it. Now, more than ever, this nation needs access to reliable information.

“While these investments are extraordinary, they do not replace federal funding,” Maher stated. “The permanent loss of more than $1 billion in federal funding has created significant financial pressure across all of public media. No single benefactor can or should carry this responsibility alone.”

There are many things that I truly appreciate... I like roads and the interstate highway system... I'm glad that we have the Fire Department... Since I was a criminal for the vast majority of my life I'm not too appreciative of the Police Department...

I'm glad that we have electricity and clean running water... I like flush toilets too... And I like the fact that I can just type on my computer and people will bring me food... Recently I've been ordering flour tortillas and sliced ham. I roll them up and it's a lovely snack... Top it off with chocolate candy... And maybe some potato chips... Bagels...

I believe that the war in Iran is idiotic. Just like the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Vietnam, Korea... "The Country" spends a lot of money and a lot of lives doing insane things... Like blowing up foreign countries... And just last week we harmed the country of Cuba by preventing any oil shipments... The electricity in that country is generated by burning oil... The cars run on gasoline...  How could wrecking Cuba possibly benefit me in any way???

And now the leader of the CIA is visiting Cuba??? Why???
