HEADLINE: Illinois 'White Rabbit' white supremacy group shut down by federal authorities.

The group calls itself the White Rabbit Militia. From their hideaway south of metro Chicago, White Rabbit militiamen were stockpiling an arsenal of automatic weapons, bombs, and bullets, preparing for a violent revolution against the federal government according to newly filed court documents. U.S. law enforcement describes the rural Illinois-based group as a "paramilitary terrorist organization" targeting anyone they didn't like or disagreed with.

Michael Hari is the accused leader of the White Rabbits according to federal agents. The 49-year-old is from downstate Clarence and is charged with leading a posse of heavily armed central Illinois militiamen to a Minnesota mosque.

A 27-year-old man who allegedly espoused white supremacist ideology online was arrested by the FBI and accused of plotting to bomb a synagogue in Colorado.

Richard Holzer had brought a knife and a mask to a motel room and was examining inert pipe bombs prepared by undercover agents moments before he was arrested late Friday, according to a criminal complaint.
Holzer is charged with attempting to obstruct the free exercise of religious beliefs with the attempted use of explosives -- a hate crime. In court documents, officials called him a domestic terrorist and described his alleged anti-Semitic ideology and desires for a racial holy war.
According to the complaint, Holzer talked about killing Jews in forums online and shared video of himself casing a synagogue in Pueblo. He described himself as a skinhead, and shared pictures of himself with other social media users with guns and knives alongside white supremacist symbols, the complaint says.

Holzer, according to prosecutors, wrote on one Facebook account: "I wish the Holocaust really did happen .... they need to die."

In court filings, prosecutors said Hasson was a “domestic terrorist” and described himself in writing as a white nationalist. He’s alleged to have studied the methods of the Virginia Tech gunman, Norwegian mass murderer Anders Breivik, and other killers and wanted “to murder innocent civilians on a scale rarely seen in this country,” according to prosecutors. The Wall Street Journal reports investigators found Hasson had components to assemble guns that are unregulated and untraceable, including an AR-15-style rifle, as part of a “ghost gun kit.” Hasson allegedly spent hours planning domestic terrorist attacks, even logging in at his work computer at Coast Guard headquarters to study the manifestos and work of mass murderers, and was said to be taking the synthetic opioid Tramadol, which officials said he acquired illegally. His alleged hit list included Sens. Charles Schumer, Kamala Harris, and Elizabeth Warren, as well as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Maxine Waters, and Beto O’Rourke.
