We had a disaster in the living room of the Little House in Chico... We owned a giant three wick candle... And used it to heat the house in the winter... So I thought I could make it a little bit hotter by adding a fourth Wick... That caused the side of the candle to melt and all the wax drained out... And there was a giant ball of Fire... So I got a bucket of water and dumped on the Fire... And that caused a cloud of vaporized wax to coat the inside of the entire living room... No way you could ever paint the living room again... It was coated with incredibly tiny bits of Wax... But I put out the fire and we didn't die... And after we moved out of that rental... The landlord tore it down... It was just a tiny house for his daughter and she moved away... At first he rented it to us... But it became obviously unrentable once I destroyed the inside walls...

Everyday every broadcast the story is exactly the same... The specific names of the people that are far away from here change... But they're still behaving crazy and that's why their lives really suck...

On social media, I read that a lot of people spend their lives watching TV news and looking at their phones doomscrolling... Worrying about problems that they can do nothing about... I'm not kidding...

It's safe to summarize TV news as: People I don't know, far away from here, are behaving crazy again. And that makes their lives suck. I'm sure glad they're not around here.

I do read posts on Faceborg written by friends and family... I especially like the movies of my family skiing... And dancing at rock concerts... And every time I see someone expressing a MAGA Moron absurdity, I block them... And I never see their Trump Pansy #CrazyTalk again...

Why would I voluntarily read posts written by Russian Bots or paid employees in Nigeria?

When you stop to think about it... There are very few Actual MAGA Morons In the Real World... Their opinions are Amplified by Computer Programs that "flood the zone" with #mindControl #brainWashing ... I decline to participate...

When I'm playing with the computer art program, I cannot see a clock... So I go into "The Zone" ... And often, hours pass... Time well spent!

I do like the artificial intelligence Image Makers... I use the programs by Google and Microsoft... I type in a description, they generate an image, and I choose the best one...

now that I think about it...
I have a lot of Hope for the future... First we have to survive the next three years... And by that I mean the human race... I mean life itself... If Trump starts World War 3 then we could exterminate all living creatures on planet Earth... And it may take a billion years to evolve a new life form... And it may be a dead Planet forever... Who knows? I won't be around to witness it... I figured that since I live near Sacramento, California... in the event of a nuclear war I will be dead before I even know it started...

But I predict that the next presidential election will be won by Gavin Newsom and Jennifer Siebel. It will be like Camelot 2.0 - there was a time in American history when JFK and Jackie were in the White House and that era was commonly called Camelot... Not only will Gavin and Jennifer serve for 8 years in the White House... But their children will grow up to rule... Just like those other family dynasties... The Bush family... The Kennedy family... We will have a Newsom Dynasty that will rule for 100 years...

Then later I drove them to the Salt Lake City Airport where they called a family member who bought them a couple of airplane tickets back to Colorado... Nice kids but... Totally unprepared... And it's really our responsibility as Village Elders to take care of the young... I was traveling with my friend Mike and he volunteered my services as a ambulance driver... And I said okay!

Here I am at the office... In Eureka, California.
You will note that I have a string of bells hanging on the wall in the upper left hand corner... Those bells have "been danced" by me at a Pow Wow in Paradise, California... And every day at 5:00 I would ring those bells and shout out: "GO Home! The work day is over! Stop working! GO Home!"

What IF? Would Pumping all that water out of the River and Into Fields that are Growing Crops Change the Climate of California's Central Valley? In the Summer, all that water would evaporate and then fall as rain when those clouds meet the Sierra Nevada Mountains... In General, the Wind Flows from West to East... WE NEED RAIN...

In anticipation of a multi-day, significant atmospheric river in Northern California, Governor Gavin Newsom today issued an executive order that would make it easier to divert and store excess water from incoming winter storms. The Governor signed the order after he received a briefing on the latest forecast for the storm.

The executive order also directs the Department of Water Resources and other state agencies to take action to maximize diversion of those excess flows to boost the state’s water storage in Northern California, including storage in San Luis Reservoir south of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. Mourning the passing of former State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Delaine Eastin. I had the privilege of running alongside Delaine on the campaign trail in 2018 when she was running for governor. She embraced my campaign and supported it with great enthusiasm. I will forever be grateful for her advice and friendship.

Delaine was a model for how to lead as a public servant. She paved the way for more women to run for office and serve in leadership roles, and she was incredibly generous with her time and energy — uplifting me and others even during her own campaigns.

I loved watching Delaine deliver passionate speeches about her efforts to ensure our education system provided students with the necessary support and tools for success in the classroom. She was a fierce advocate for school food programs, ensuring our kids had the nutrition they needed. Delaine also fought for smaller class sizes and advocated for inclusive policies, pushing for our schools to provide essential resources to students with disabilities. Her work directly improved the educational experiences of countless students in California, and will reverberate for generations to come.

I’m sending love and support to Delaine’s family and friends. Let us honor her legacy by continuing to advocate for the causes she cared about so deeply. Rest in power, Delaine.

I met a paradise school board member who had lost her home in the fire, but was going shelter by shelter to track down each of her students to ensure they were safe.

Emulating their resolve, I spent the next four years working every day to prevent wildfires like the Camp Fire. I didn't relent until we had a state-wide strategy and resources to actively mitigate these fires. We now have tools and resources to meet the fire crisis head on so other communities don't need to test their courage and grit like the people of Paradise. #ParadiseStrong #CAWildfire
