I feel very Patriotic towards California but not much towards the USA... We would be Better Off if At Least Half of the Country was a Different Country.

I do not feel "Patriotic" support for our Military Industrial Complex. Whenever I'm called upon to "Support the Troops" I reject that Idea because it's an all volunteer army. I OPPOSE THE USA CYBERWAR AGAINST RUSSIA. Won't that just make them try to Attack OUR Power Grid?

Evidently the USA launched Cyber Attacks on Russia's Electric Power Distribution System. and at the same time, tens of millions of people lost power in SOUTH AMERICA. Are these two events related? Did our attack cause distruption in an unplanned location?

Face Facts: If we had Tens of Millions of people lose power in the USA for a week, that would lead to FOOD RIOTS and basically the end of Western Civilization. Without electricity and the internet you can't buy food, gasoline or get cash out of the automatic tellers at the bank. Mass starvation...

Why are we attacking Russia anyway? What mindless vegetable at the Pentagon ordered This War? They had to keep the details Secret from Trump because, as Commander in Chief, he might have COUNTERMANDED THE ATTACK or Leaked the Plan to the Russians... Like, Call Putin on the Phone and Commit Treason Himself... OH, that's right, it's IMPOSSIBLE for him to Commit Treason because he can retroactively declassify anything...

IMHO: The American Civil War was a BAD IDEA. We would all be better off if The South was a Different Country.

Things to Consider:

First: 700,000 people died... Not Wonderful...

Second: We would save a lot of money currently wasted on Welfare, Food Stamps and Unemployment Checks. The South Takes more Money from the Federal Government that it pays in Taxes...

Third: Most of the Black People would have STAYED in the South. Compton, Watts and South Central LA would simply NOT EXIST... [at least not as they are today] ---> No "Gangsta Rap" Music <--- South Side of Chicago? Definitely NOT "the Baddest Part of Town" because Leroy Brown Wouldn't Live There... Washington DC, the Murder Capital of the USA? It would be a lovely and safe town... East Palo Alto? That's where all those Stanford Students Live...

Fourth: NO Presidents would ever be elected from Texas. Obviously, George Bush the Son was an ASTONISHINGLY STUPID MAN... If we did not have the Civil War, he would have been just another Oil Company CEO...

Fifth: Here in the North we wast a LOT of Money on Incarceration of Black Men. We wouldn't have to pay for that expense if the Blacks lived in the South. THEY might have a problem in the South but... Foreign Countries often have troubles that we don't worry about...

Finally, I believe that Black People would have had a Revolution and FREED THEMSELVES from Slavery. Think about it... Black outnumbered Whites by about 10 to 1... Would they REALLY have Tolerated Slavery? Not Likely... Especially in the 1960s when There were all those Black Power Movements... Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Huey Newton, Black Panthers... How long would Angela Davis remain a Slave? About 5 Minutes...

We still could have allowed people from the South to Visit for Employment and Vacations. What if Willie Nelson wanted to TOUR? He could get permission to work in the USA... We already allow Foreigners to come to America to Play Basketball in the NBA... and MLB and NFL...

Oh, Well... Live and Learn... We Made a Mistake back then but... "Won't Get Fooled Again!"

It appears that the talks with "little rocket man" will happen right before the elections of 2018. Trump's technique worked. Boosting the Republicans victories in House and Senate Races. Unless the Democrats magically come up with some strategy that makes them look good, we are doomed to have a Republicrime controlled government for years. Last night's White House Correspondents Dinner did not go well. They had a comedian that was not funny. Maybe they would have had a better speech if they had a white male telling the jokes... The woman just seemed mean.

Trump made a campaign speech in Michigan and said many quotable sound bites. He says that the Democrats are in favor of Open Borders and Higher Taxes. The Democrats do not have any obvious answer to that... What are we in favor of? I don't know... Medicare for all?

Trump's anti-immigrant policy makes sense. We simply do not benefit from having non-English speaking people move here. While some people call it racist (and therefore not a good idea), it is popular with the majority of Americans. In Sacramento, CA we have had thousands of Syrians migrate here. What could they possibly do for a living? We already have an excess of below average intellegence workers filling low skill jobs... What we ought to do is end all these CrazyWars. If we did not blow up Syria, we wouldn't be getting Syrian Refugees. They could live in their "shithole" countries and do whatever they do there... No one has really answered Trump's Question. "Why do we allow people from shithole countries to immigrate here?"

If we stopped blowing up countries in the middle east we could save a lot of money wasted on war. We could cut the pentagon's budget in half and use the money for something useful. OR... refund it to the taxpayers.
