This was written after attending a Grateful Dead concert in JFK Stadium in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I was sitting up above the crowd in the bleachers and could see the dancers move more enthusiastically during peaks of the music… less motion during gentle passages… as the dynamics of the improvisation ebbed and flowed, the dancers moved accordingly… like sea anemones moving in the currents of the ocean… I also mention the Spectrum in Philadelphia… It has many blinking advertisements for Atlantic city casinos in the area where refreshments were being served…

God, THE 'BIG G' WALKS RIGHT UP TO ME

THEY WERE PROGRAMMED DIRECTLY INTO MY DNA...

At the JFK Show I was sitting up high in the bleachers and noticed that the dancing people looked very similar to Sea Anemones. When the music got very exciting, they would throw their arms up in the air... I could see the music as it flowed from the front to the back as people raised their arms when they heard it. Very similar to a Sea Anemone flowing in the currents of the ocean... We were flowing in the currents of the music...

I first noticed the Grateful Dead in 1968 in English class at junior high school. Our teacher had put up posters on the wall of the classroom and we wrote essays about them.

He was attempting to stimulate creative WRITING but more importantly,
creative THINKING.

One was an American flag made out of swastikas and another was a solarized/negative photo of 5 hairy men standing in front of "LITTLE BOXES" type suburban tract homes.

TJ420: Posted on Facebook... It was 19 years ago this evening that I had the priveledge of seeing the Grateful Dead for the very last time. Although pretty blazed thru most of the show, I do remember as if yesterday the final encore of that show, Jerry played 'Brokedown Palace" and it was so beautiful it made me cry, but at the same time he sounded so very tired. I will always treasure those final moments,,. there have been many shows and festys since, but the ledgend still holds true..."THERE IS AND NEVER WILL BE ANYTHING, ANYTHING LIKE A GRATEFUL DEAD SHOW!"

Greg Vanderlaan While going to a performance of The Grateful Dead was wonderful... I believe that it misses the point... Something Else was happening and that Something Else can be experienced at any Dead Related Event. For Example: When I was in High School, someone went to a concert and concluded that we could build our own... and we could be in the band, run the light show... etc... And we built Forbes Mill teen club in Los Gatos, California...

I will go dance to local bands that have learned how to play the songs... Thankfully we have every performance stored online... I just enjoyed the JFK show that I barely remember...

My Facebook Group (Things I remember growing up in Los Gatos) has improved my memory... We all post memories of what happened to us as Children. When people talk of events that happened to me, I remember what I was doing and the names of the other people... Some memories had been lost for decades... The first girl I kissed... for example... Now I remember her Name! I wonder if the drugs they advertise on TV actually Improve Memory. In General, those ads are Lies or exaggeration... Practically speaking the best plan for improving health, including Mental Health is to eat right and exercise... This is NOT secret information... I do think it's funny that they advertise PREVAGEN very often and they repeat the name again and again and again. as if they know that their Target Audience is people that have difficulty remembering things! Good Marketing Strategy... Here is a little trick I use. I do all my word processing in NOTEPAD. It does not have a Spell Checker. I have to remember how to spell words... and the words I have difficulty spelling are Flagged as Wrong by the spell checker I use on Google's Blogger... and That spell checker has a very limited vocabulary... I laugh at the Names of People It Does Not Know... after it corrects my spelling many times, I learn... Intelligence has an I after the Double L... etc, etc, etc...

I wonder if Facebook, Google, Apple, Microsoft and Amazon are actually more powerful than the US Government. Right Now there is a Battle between Big Tech and the Government. Facebook was Fined $5 Billion Dollars but The Stock Price Went UP! by enough to offset the fine! Real People LOVE Facebook and Hate the Government. We the People Laugh at the Old White Men in Congress failing to understand the BASIC Business Plan of Online Corporations... They sell targeted advertising. Little Stevie Munchkin wants an Investigation of Amazon because it wiped out Brick and Mortar Retail Stores. Well, no amount of Investigation will reverse THAT trend. I wanted to buy a Telescope so I could look at the boats going in and out of the Harbor in Eureka. So I went to a Brick and Mortar Store and asked questions, looked at products and the I bought it on Amazon... NO WAY was I going to Pay EXTRA so that retailer could rent a Building and heat it, keep the lights on... ETC... I see that people buy CARS online... well, no high pressure salesmen hassling the shopper... I remember shopping for a new can in the 1980s... it was very annoying to deal with those salesmen... trying to trick me into buying stuff I didn't want or need. and then they really screwed me using Chrysler Credit Corporation... Well, forget That. Online Loans, Online Car Dealers. The entire process is MUCH better for the Consumer... and... Jeff Bezos Bought the Washington Post Newspaper so he can influence Public Opinion... Try Fighting THAT you Pathetic TrumpNik!

JoAnn and I planned to go to Heavens Gate UFO Lecture but it was cancelled due to people disappearing at previous lectures.

Lucky for us, the police stopped Marshall Applewhite from recruiting in San Jose at the Old Civic Center because of missing persons reports from Oregon. Later, they had a mass suicide. The people were supposed to fly away on an UFO when they died... Intentional Abductees... The people in the UFO Cult worked as Website Designers at the beginning of the Internet...

We did attend the SNACK Concert in Golden Gate Park's Kesar Stadium with many famous San Francisco Bands performing to raise money for the Football Team and Marching Bands of High Schools in SF. The Acronym means Students Need Athletics, Culture and Kicks.

First we went to a Church Service at Saint Mary's Cathedral. It's the modern building that looks like the inside of a washing machine... The ceiling is very high and they have rods of gold suspended that float in the breese and look like falling rain. Very Pretty. Sadly, while we were at Church, The Grateful Dead were performing at the SNACK Concert... We arrived late but got to see Bob Dylan, The Band, The Doobie Brothers and many more. Including a speech by Marlon Brando.

JUST ANOTHER MIRACLE

This lyric is about my time working at the plastic factory in Chico. We made wheels for wheelchairs. One day after work I was extremely stressed out about the miserable conditions I was working in and a wise lady suggested that I have Jesus bless each wheel and all that ride. I was handling hot plastic and working extremely quickly to fit tiny nuts into the wheel before the plastic cooled and the wheel shrank in size to be too small to fit the nuts. This basically meant that I was franticly rushing to fit 9 nuts into a wheel that was burning my fingers. She suggested the blessing as a stress reliever for me. Fortunetly, my boss came to the realization that I was the wrong person for this particular product and never made me make that type of wheel again. I did become THE wheel maker of another type. I did continue to bless the wheels. I am an atheist but... WHY NOT BLESS THE WHEEL... Eventually I made thousands of wheels. A useful way to spend my time... *
