I had a great teacher at Humboldt State University. Merle Wayne Knight taught Graphic Design, Computer Art... He passed away from Pneumonia.

Merle said that we ought to learn how to draw with pens and pencils first, then scan those drawings into the computer. That way our art would look Unique. People who only use the computer all look the same, boring and unsellable as graphic artists for customers.

Why would they Hire YOU as an Consultant Artist when they could simply get someone inside their own corporation to do a "good enough" job?
