JUST A GENERAL STATEMENT I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE ABOUT WHAT AMERICA SEEMS TO HAVE DE-EVOLVED INTO SINCE 2016, DEAR FRIENDS AND FELLOW CONCERNED AMERICANS ~
I`m a Baby Boomer who to this day can`t believe the steady decline of GOP ethics since (and including) the days of Reagan, each decade getting only worse. But, let`s jump ahead from there to 2016 to show how The GOP has by degrees become more and more unintelligent and lacking not only any ethics, but having being void of any backbone as well.
To speculate, if Trump had let`s say ran for President thirty or even twenty some yrs. ago he would never had gotten further than the GOP primaries when he would have had to run against some Republicans that still had some "cojones", and would have mopped the floor up with him in their primary debates. They wouldn`t have fallen for Trump`s diversionary tactics of insulting others in the primary and his other dirty politics methods. Then again that was back when there were some actually intelligent Republican politicians.
To further speculate, but let`s suppose thirty or twenty yrs. ago he did manage to win the primary and get elected Prsident somehow. How long would it have taken ALL Americans back then to insist heavily on ousting a pretty much known pedophile and scam artist sitting in The WH such as Trump? It could have never happened back then of course, but that`s how rotten some Americans have become and devolved into in the last decade and a half.
So, a situation we have now is there aren`t any Republicans still in office that aren`t afraid of him turning their own party against them for having the nerve to have a mind of their own and disagree with anything Trump has said and done and still doing. Not only are there not many GOP office holders you can really call intelligent anymore, there isn`t one with any backbone anymore as well. Trump`s lapdogs are all they all amount to.
All the ones that have spoken out against #45/47 before did so only after retiring from office or their "Party of Trump" fellow GOPs "primaried" them out of office (Liz Cheney).
Unbelievable, and sad what America has now become where OUR Constitution is now an ignored almost meaningless document. Unless there is a big turnabout in the midterm elections where Dems can gain control of Congress we will have essentially a dogmatic dictator sitting in The Oval Office for the next three yrs. and three months (but, let`s not forget #47 fully intends rewrite our laws to be #48 or as long as he has a breath in his wretched body). You know what has to be done therefore, REAL Americans. Raise your voices loud, vote, and help others who may have difficulty voting to do so. Carry on Democracy Troops!
