One of Richard Nixon’s top advisers and a key figure in the Watergate scandal said the war on drugs was created as a political tool to fight blacks and hippies, according to a 22-year-old interview recently published in Harper’s Magazine.

“The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people,” former Nixon domestic policy chief John Ehrlichman told Harper’s writer Dan Baum for the April cover story published Tuesday.

“You understand what I’m saying? We knew we couldn’t make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin. And then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities,” Ehrlichman said. “We could arrest their leaders. raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did.”

Race uprisings in the late 1960s and ongoing demonstrations against the war in Vietnam left many American voters feeling uncertain and afraid of the future. Richard M. Nixon, the Republican presidential candidate from California, played on these fears by inventing a “war on drugs,” which targeted war demonstrators and African Americans.

One little known effect of mass incarceration of African Americans is: Men go to Men's prisons, Women go to Women's prisons... And one fact of this separation is that they have Fewer Children... The definition of genocide is to prevent the genes of a certain people from reproducing... Mass incarceration certainly guarantees fewer Black Babies... 

And the racist drug laws continue to this day because crack cocaine gets prison sentences that are five times longer than powdered cocaine... Crack cocaine is popular among African Americans... Powdered cocaine is frequently used by Rich White People... And now you know the rest of the story...

I'm the Only Person Registered to Vote at the "Old Folks Home" Where I Live. We Have FIVE Other Residents and THREE Care Givers. NONE VOTE. and I'm Not Planning to Change That Fact.

I can understand why the caregivers don't vote. They were all immigrants from Africa or the Caribbean and it's probably not legal for them to vote... 

And I can understand why the residence are not registered to vote.  Most of them are really old people with bad health problems and the concerns of the world outside of this house are not that important... Many could not tell you who is the President of the United States IS at this moment... Many just don't care... They watch TV shows [Sitcoms, Movies, Game Shows, Comedy] but never the news... 

I'm certain that I'm not going to try and motivate these people to vote... Mainly because voting in California makes absolutely no difference at all in the Presidential Election... And it doesn't make much difference if we vote or not in the Governor's Race or who's going to be our Senators or Representatives... Democrats are going to win all the elections accept for My representative in the House... It looks like Kevin Kiley (Formerly a Republican - Now "NO PARTY") is going to be the winner... He's Running Against Dr. Richard Pan (Democrat)

It's super obvious that if we try to elect AOC, Pete B, Hillary or Kamala that Republicans will win and will be stuck with four more years of The Nightmare World that Trump has created...

All we can do is not repeat history by making the same mistakes again and again and again...

Obama was half white and half black and was raised by his white mother and his white grandparents... The black father had no input at all... Actually, Obama was influenced by the Japanese culture in Hawaii... And a few years of living in Indonesia with his mother and stepfather... 

So, if you do the math... You might be able to spot a trend! 46 presidents, 45 and 1/2 were white men... The result is 98.9 % - and none were openly gay... So Pete B has no chance of winning because hundreds of millions of Americans refuse to vote for a gay man... 

it's important to remember that Trump inherited 400 million from his father and then lost it all on idiotic real estate deals... It was all documented in his book... he lost money on every deal!

It's interesting to realize that the founders of Turning Point USA were idiots... One was a loudmouth anti-vaxxer who died of covid-19... And the other was a second amendment gun nut who died of a gunshot wound... Ironic!
