Most People FAIL To do anything to Stop Causing Climate Change... Expect More Disasters! The Hurricane in SoCal Over... Not Much Damage... Some Flooding but MY Family Wasn't Harmed... I was Worried...

a friend and I were Discussing the Climate Change Protest at Burning Man...
I Said: I think a climate protest at Burning Man is a Bad Idea... It seems to me that we are doomed to experience worse and worse climate and there is NO HOPE... So Why Cause a disturbance when we are DOOMED?
The people that Drive Cars and the People That Fly in Jet Airplanes are Continuing to Drive and Fly more than ever before... and THOSE Actions are what's Causing Climate Change...

She Replied: Well, I’m such nature lover and nomadic homebody (I know, it makes no sense🤨). I dislike big crowds for any reason. Especially, those that bring disruption and destroy the natural environment, even the tiniest of eco-systems. And for sure, the Burning Man event destroys all kinds of natural things of various sizes.

I think wind turbines and solar panels are destructively unacceptable for the planet/ environment and electric cars are as well— for all the earth and eco-systems destroyed through mining for all that’s required and the power and space it takes to manufacture them. Solar panels too, destroy vast areas land full of eco systems and they are only good for a few years at a time before they have to be replaced. Its a lose, lose idea. So even if that’s all there was, was EVs to drive and we used way less fossil fuels, we are still destroying the planet by a billion-other cuts. Human life is the only life destroying this planet and all other life on it. We are unsuitable and should get the hell outta here!

and I Replied:
WELL... This email is truly sad... with no hope for the future... I agree... everything looks like the quality of life is going to get worse until I'm Dead... then it will continue to get worse but I won't Know about it or Care...

Since the Vast Majority of people refuse to reduce the amount of gasoline they burn... and our entire civilization REQUIRES cars and trucks for survival... and the "Jet Set" is still flying like crazy... Even my own family continues to destroy the climate...

The only thing we can really do is to live in a place that is unlikely to be destroyed by climate Change...

I feel that Orangevale (near Sacramento, CA) is Unlikely to BURN or FLOOD... Even if we Had a Wildfire, the Local Fire department would be able to put it out... before it burned my house down... and I'd go swim in our creek until the fire had burned everything... and anyway... I have a Bag Packed and I'm a renter so... I'd just go live in San Francisco or Eureka...

My Family Lives near the Coast of California... a great Place to Live to survive Climate Change... San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Cruz and Eureka... and Of these Places... only San Diego is Having Hurricanes... But my cousin had to evacuate from a Wildfire in the Santa Cruz Mountains... However, if his Cabin burned down, he can just go live with his girlfriend... permanently...

80% of the USA is in Danger from Climate Change... and SO MANY are "Climate Change Deniers" and they Refuse to Learn... or take action... to save their own lives...

We are taking some action but NOT ENOUGH... Solar Panel and Windmills are a Good Idea... Electric Cars are a Good Idea... but it's too little too damn late...

On 8/17/2023 I said: "Possible Hurricane in California Next Week. A Foot of Rain Predicted... Climate Change has Made The Weather on Planet Earth Bizarre!"

Hurricane Hilary 2023:
The hurricane could potentially bring “significant impacts” to parts of the Baja California Peninsula and the Southwestern United States this weekend, including rainfall of up to 12 inches in the Southern California mountains, according to the National Hurricane Center.

How climate change makes hurricanes more destructive...
As our climate warms, we’re experiencing stronger winds, higher storm surges and record rainfalls during hurricane season — which is also why these storms are becoming more destructive and costly. Evaporation intensifies as temperatures rise, and so does the transfer of heat from the oceans to the air. As the storms travel across warm oceans, they pull in more water vapor and heat.

That means stronger wind, heavier rainfall and more flooding when the storms hit land.
