The Main Lesson Learned is Don't Smoke Tobacco. It Doesn't Really Get Me Very High and It Makes me Cough and Wheeze... I Smoked for 40 Years and Quit 5 Years ago. Glad I Shook That Addiction. I Started at Age 19 When I Found out That a Half and Half Blend of Marijuana and Tobacco got me Higher using less Weed. The Same Idea as "Hamburger Helper." - So I Always preferred Roll Your Own Cigarettes. Bugler or Top. and Then Later, when I Had Money... American Spirit... a Can cost $34 Dollars... 200+ Cigarettes... and I Often Stopped smoking after Half a Cigarette and saved the "Roach" for later... Unrolling it and Putting the Enhanced Tobacco Back in the Can. VERY STRONG TOBACCO near the Bottom of the Can... and I Did Experience Paranoid Schizophrenia... or as I Like to Call It: "Channeling My Inner Chewbacca." - Just a General Background Rage... and a Belief that The Government Was Spying on Me... Of Course, The Government IS Spying n Me But... They Just Don't Care... I'm Not That Much of a Threat... All That Faded Away After I Quit...

I Used FEAR to Help Me Quit. My Brother Got Lung Cancer and I Believe That Cancer Runs in Families. He Recovered. I was Afraid that I Had a High Risk of Getting Cancer Myself So... I Just Stopped... and Experienced the Pain of Withdrawal Symptoms for a Month... and Experienced the Desire for a Smoke for a Year...

Anyway Greg, I do Understand. Ended up in the hospital last year for 2 months and had to go to a nursing home for a month before they would let me go home. they didn't want to. I had to beg. So during that process I ended up QUitting a 48 year smoking habit. Not much choice when you are hooked up to oxygen in the ICU.... It's been awful....My husband who I have been with since September of 1972 still smokes a bit and goes outside to do it and I can't go out there with him like we always did because I am afraid I will smoke again. I hate this.

Now gently come back to your living body. With this feeling of respect and love, come back to your living body, and let this feeling remain with you, inside of you. Let it spread to each nerve, to each muscle, along every vein and artery. Let this feeling of respect and love spread inside you, throughout your entire organism, and then let it spread out into the world.

So, what should you do with your life? You should live it. You should experience it. You should love it. You should respect it. You should honor it. And most importantly, you should be true to yourself.

In the words of the Indian greeting, Namasta, "I honor the light within you." So, honor the light within yourself, and let it guide you on your journey through life.

It's Best to Type it Up before I forget it... For Certain, I would have tried to help any Lost Old Man but It seems Important that I Offered Ram Dass Help in my dream. Great Movie: VAMPYR - A 1932 German Film with many creepy characters. The story is told by showing pages from a book written in the German Language... some words look so spooky...

Dialog is spoken in German with English subtitles on the screen. Surrealistic Classical Music... swirling violins and Church Bells. Achieving Immortality using Science. 

Great Movie: "Arrival" explores communication with Aliens. What if they had a totally different language? What IF they did not talk? They draw squiggly Zen Circles...

KOYAANISQATSI (Life out of Balance) movie review: by Greg Vanderlaan - Save the Redwoods - Jail Hurwitz, Pacific Lumber Hostile Takeover - MAXXAM SUXX

This film, made in the 1980's deserves watching again due to it's insight into ecology and "time capsule" footage.. It features stunning video images and the music of minimalist composer Phillip Glass. You just don't see movies like this anymore. Another layer of emotional meaning is felt when we see film of American factory workers making television sets... They did that in the PAST but not in 2005. There is historical archive footage of dynamiting abandoned housing projects in the New York area... I can't watch the buildings collapsing without remembering 9/11/2001. There is NO DIALOG OR PLOT but the film causes the viewer to slip into a meditative trance and frees the mind to "GROK" concepts. I was fortunate to see this at the Uptown Theater in Washington DC when it was new. When I left the theater, the whole world had changed... I saw it through new eyes. I can see the influence of this film on POP culture. For example: Pink Floyd's Video "Us and Them" uses scenes of office workers in super slow motion.
