NOW, It's Disaster Economy Time!

Republicans in Congress are largely against extending the benefit, arguing that it disincentives people to return to work, thus preventing the economy from starting up again...  GOP=EVIL

With the coronavirus pandemic throwing many nonessential workers out of the labor force, the bonus has functioned like a universal basic income (a minimum income guaranteed by the government), and it's worked.
