A universal Basic Income could be paid for by a slight increase in taxes for the super rich. What if Bill Gates had only 3.9 billion dollars instead of 4 Billion? He wouldn't even notice the difference but an additional $1,000 a month to a poor person would allow them to feed their children. Feeding children increases the likelihood of them growing up smart... Starvation is not healthy for growing children's brains...
