Buffalo Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin remained in critical condition Tuesday after collapsing on the field during the Monday Night football showdown with the Bengals.
The game was officially suspended about an hour after the incident and about 30 minutes after Hamlin was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The NFL said Tuesday afternoon the game would not resume this week.
Medical center officials had not given an update on Hamlin's condition as of Tuesday afternoon, but the Bills said Tuesday afternoon Hamlin, 24, spent Monday night in the intensive care unit and remained in critical condition.
