In Humboldt County California... What if Bill the Librarian and Tofu Mike (Absynth) and Jesse (Samba Parade, Humboldt Calypso Band) formed a Band...

With a Super Assortment of Players... Tim Day on Bass, Samantha Toste Day Vocals, that guy from the Generatorz on Guitar... Calamity Jane (the Nurse) on Hammond B3... The Horn Section from Gregg Moore's Bandemonium... Dr. Eugene Novotney Spiritual Guidance (and a Practice Hall on Campus - HSU) etc etc etc...

I had a dream last night. I was in a gas station with Lady Gaga and She was talking to a woman parked at the gas pump but not pumping gas. The Woman was just crying. She said: "I need Gas but I Have No Money." Lady Gaga turned to me and said: "Go Pay for Gas. Pump #3." and I did...

There was also a Photo blown up to poster size that we were spray painting stencil letters of Corporations on... There were 10 names but the only one I remember was Nestle. We were preparing the photo to hold in a protest march.

SO... If I'm ever in a Gas Station and I see a Crying Woman parked at the Gas Pump but Not pumping Gas... I'll Know What to Do...

Some Random Dude Asked:

You would do what Lady Gaga would tell you to do. Right?

and I Replied:

Just typing in a dream before I forgot it... and FaceBORG is my Favorite Word Processor... AND - I would do what's Right no Matter Who Gave me free advice... Yep... Morality is pretty Damn Simple... I'd buy Gas for a Crying Woman...

CR Said:

It’s time to let the smart people take the wheel for a while. Everyone’s vote is proportional to their IQ(or…)score. Therefore each person’s vote represents a number from 1-5 depending on how they perform on standardized tests. The testing would be high caliber and sensitive to cultural variables. Nobody would know their score and everyone would have equal access to voting equipment. What do you guys think?

I Replied:

Too Complex... and Unfair to Stupid People. A Better System would be One Person One Vote. Everyone Votes on a Paper Ballot and when they are done they dip their thumb in purple dye. No possiblity of voting twice. no need to register. no chance of computer fraud. Damn Simple. Everyone gets to vote. Including Illegal Aliens. They are People too. Whoever gets the most votes becomes president. NO ELECTORAL COLLEGE... None of That. Majority Rule!

CR Replied: it was a joke.

and I Replied:

Then say *Just Joking* because I took You Seriously... and In Fact It's a Pretty Good Idea... The Current System of One Dollar One Vote is Horrible... Bribed Senetors Like That guy from West Virginia... Russian Money funding Trump... It's Insane..

Greg Predicts the Future: This Summer North Shore Lake Tahoe will be Threatened by Wildfire. It'll start in the foothills near Highway #80 and Burn uphill to Donner Lake... and then a Short way over the Mountain... and then they'll put in out... By Dumping Water on the Fire with Helicopters that dipped Buckets in the Lake.

Yorba Linda, Mission Viejo, San Ramon and Los Gatos also scored well for safety relative to other small cities in the survey.

Liz Merry asks:

QOTD: What's the last thing you learned that helped you in a significant way?
No politics, please.
(Yuck! New avatars!)

Some Dude Said: That phase angles only matter in harmonically related circuits (I already knew RF chokes would help, but the missing link in my understanding was how AC circuits — in my case Radio Frequency — behave in transmission lines.)
I’m not an engineer, have no formal training in this field, and I’m a late bloomer (COVID inspired enhancement).
Suffice to say, new and unfamiliar Alternating Current Radio Frequency Transmission Line Phenomena. If you’re familiar with this at all, I just bridged the thought gap between zero knowledge, and that of a new 1st-year, first day physics course. Yay me! ðŸ˜‰
Oh, how did it help me in a significant way. Well, besides being the missing detail in my knowledge whilst assembling coax stub filters (just cut pieces of coax transmission line that filter things out), it seems to have applicable relevance to so many other things.
This math, is music math.
All of this I intellectually already knew. I could answer “A” on the multiple choice. But to see it…from an unfamiliar source. Mind blown.

I guess this is what you were asking, so I thought I’d share.

and I replied: How to open and sign in to 15 social media sites with one click. Handy for publishing my words... and pictures... and songs...
