At 76 and physically disabled, (since 49 in 1992), I have always been an animal lover/rescuer. I grew up on a farm with animals, large and small. I loved, trained and rode horses into my adult life and later-on developed skills in dealing with cats. Some time after becoming disabled, I did TNR (trap, neuter, return) of 112 feral cats and found homes for many of the kittens. I kept two and adopted a rescued/abused pup too, now 11 years old. We are family.
