Savannah Guthrie was among the earliest major-network anchors to feature multiple Jeffrey Epstein accusers together on U.S. television, but she was not literally the first person ever to air an Epstein survivor on TV. In 2019 she conducted several high-profile exclusives with accusers, including Virginia Roberts Giuffre and a group of six women, for NBC’s Today and a Dateline NBC special titled “Reckoning.”

Now her 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie is missing.

Jeffrey Epstein Case Connection: A prominent theory suggests that Nancy's disappearance is linked to her daughter Savannah’s 2019 interviews with Jeffrey Epstein victims for Dateline NBC. Speculation intensified because the Department of Justice released over 3 million files related to the Epstein case on the same night she disappeared.
