Nurses are Valuable. Trump's action to make it difficult for nursing students to get student loans is insane. A nurse gave him the covid-19 vaccine... And then he recommended that all his followers get the covid-19 vaccine as well... Thank you nurses!

Here's a nurse saving my life. Covid-19 shot

Here's a nurse giving me a covid-19 vaccine.
Thank You! On that day she vaccinated about 30 employees at the place I live... All of the caregivers at ur old folks home were vaccinated... And any Resident who was interested got vaccinated as well... And then a month later I got covid-19 with NO SYMPTOMS... Excellent work!

Here are some links in case you want to tell your representatives in Congress what you think about this...

Nursing no longer considered a professional degree by Trump administration

Change means student loans are limited for nurses, physical therapists, physician assistants...

and then I read this on social media...

A SLAP IN THE FACE...
The main reason nurses are furious about the Department of Education removing nursing from the professional occupation list is that it feels like yet another insult after years of giving everything we have.
We’ve spent years in demanding programs—intense courses, clinical hours, exams, and boards that most people outside healthcare don’t even know exist. Nurses handle medications, IVs, urgent decisions, emergencies, and real human lives, all while managing overwhelming workloads, staffing shortages, and emotional strain few ever witness.
We work “12-hour” shifts that become 14, skip meals, miss holidays, and carry the weight of trauma and loss, then go home and pretend life is normal.
So when the term “professional” is removed, it hits hard because nurses have fought for recognition, respect, and credibility in a system that depends on them. We advocate tirelessly for our patients and for ourselves.
This isn’t about a single word.
It’s about what that word represents.
If the people who keep the healthcare system running aren’t considered professionals, what does that say about this country’s priorities?
Nurses aren’t upset without reason—they’re exhausted from being treated like they don’t matter. And eventually, that exhaustion will push many of us away.
