Everybody sing along!
(Verse 1)
He stands upon the stage so grand,
A microphone clasped in his hand.
With chest puffed out and steady gaze,
He spins a web in hazy daze.
"Believe me," is his favorite phrase,
As truth takes countless winding ways.
The numbers swell, the facts get bent,
A different story, heaven-sent.
(Chorus)
Liar, liar, pants on fire bright,
From the podium, day and night.
Every promise, every claim,
Fuels the roaring, scorching flame.
Watch the smoke rise, thick and high,
As the honest words all die.
Liar, liar, truth's undone,
Beneath the glare of that hot sun.
(Verse 2)
Remember when the wall would rise?
And Mexico would meet the price.
Remember how the virus fled?
Just like he always bravely said.
The crowds were massive, never few,
The biggest ever, me and you.
His critics fake, his enemies weak,
Only his version can we seek.
(Chorus)
(Bridge)
Some folks they cheer, they shout his name,
Lost in the fervor, caught in the game.
They drink the Kool-Aid, deep and fast,
Believing stories built to last.
But others wince, and scratch their head,
Wondering what's true instead.
When every word's a subtle lie,
How do we see the clear blue sky?
(Chorus)
(Outro)
So check the record, read the page,
Beyond the bluster, beyond the rage.
The heat is rising, don't you see?
For all the world, for you and me.
Liar, liar, still the fire...
Burning higher, ever higher.
Pants on fire, plain to view,
What will we ever, ever do?
Liar, liar...

I Gave $100.00 - Let's Fund PBS and NPR Ourselves. The Republicans are doing Evil by cutting Public Broadcasting funding by 1.1 Billion Dollars... We can fight back!
https://donate.kvie.org/kvie/donate this is my local public broadcasting station in Sacramento... I'm sure you can find your own... Nationwide...
Sesame Street, Reading Rainbow, Ken Burns documentaries, Rick Steves' travel... Mr Rogers...
I understand why Republicans are opposed to teaching children how to read because people that Can Read don't vote for Trump... They also voted to destroy the Department of Education... Uneducated people are easier to brainwash...
and the other thing I like about Public Television is the lack of commercials... On all those other channels they have endless pictures trying to sell you Doctor drugs... Car insurance... Cars and Trucks... And lawyers that will sue for you when you get in the car wreck that is not your fault...
I'm not in the market to purchase any more doctor drugs, car insurance, cars, trucks, and I'm not looking for a lawyer too help me Sue... So all that crap is just brainwashing sh*t... Especially the weight loss drug called Wegovy which has got a whole parade of people that are chubby all marching together down the street to Glory! I would say that they're using peer pressure to get you to buy their weight loss drugs... See? everybody's doing it... You ought to do it too! And if you inspect the crowd of people carefully you'll see in the second row there's a guy that looks like Dr Fauci... With his stethoscope... So you know it's good medicine! See? There's America's doctor! Right there in the second row!
And all those sponsors dictate the subject of the shows themselves... Notice that the Stephen Colbert Show on CBS has recently been canceled even though it had the highest rating of any of the late night talk shows... Because CBS is busy kissing Donald Trump's ass with a 16 million bribe so they can do a merger with Skydance or somebody... And so we are witnessing Corporate Censorship...
But since PBS's funded by Foundations and "Viewers Like You" they have the freedom to speak truth... All those other stations have to get in line and March to the drum beat that corporate headquarters defines... It's super obvious with Fox News because all they do is Scream Danger-Danger Democrats are horrible... But it's visible on CNN and MSNBC... They also Scream Danger-Danger Republicans are horrible...
And I always used to listen to National Public Radio in the car when I was driving around... Just set the dial real low to 88.5 and you're bound to get something good... I remember the show A Prairie Home Companion... Featuring old timey music and the stories of Garrison Keillor telling tales about Lake Wobegon... That's one of the treasures that is paid for by National Public Radio... And Click and Clack the tappet brothers... Auto repair Advice and jokes!
Many college radio stations down there at that end of the dial... I do remember that Foothill Junior College had an excellent station... KFJC... And there's another station in Oregon that was very good... When I retired I made it a point to explore Oregon because all my life it was just a place to drive through on the way to Washington... So I had this van and I could sleep comfortably in the big bucket seats... And I made sure that I didn't have any illegal drugs with me... So I could park any place and usually the police would come around and wake me... but I just said okay, I'll just move it on down the road a little ways and they were happy with that... One of the places that was really fantastic was Crater Lake... I spent the night in that fancy old hotel... It reminded me a lot of that hotel in the movie The Shining... And I woke up early the next morning totally rested and checked out and told the clerk I'll see you later... Walked out the front door and everything was covered with ice... No way could I walk to the van... No way could I drive the van once I got there... So I went back in, told the clerk I was staying until the ice melted and they said okay... They Gave me some stationary and a stamped envelope and I sat in front of the big fireplace and wrote a letter to my family...
I also had a chat with a lady who is sitting next to me who was living in Buffalo, New York but considering moving to Oregon... So I drew her a map of Highway 101 and how to get around to Arcata and Eureka California... Brookings... And the rest of the coastal Oregon... I definitely recommended that she leave Buffalo because it gets so damn cold there in the winter that you can freeze to death every year... If she lived in Oregon she could go for a hike in the woods... Or on the beach...
At the foot of the mountain that has Crater Lake is a Big Valley filled with cattle... and old people in retirement trailer parks... Evidently the cost of living for an old person just surviving in an Airstream trailer is cheaper in Oregon than California... So people just plant their parents up there and go visit every once in awhile...
