As I walked through the valley of the shadows of the giant Redwoods, I feared I may not walk that path again. I looked, and saw the old man Redwood looking back at me. The Forest was silent for a few moments, and I stood still, listening to the amazingly quiet tranquil woods, with the ferns and flowers carpeting the ground, and within the hush, I said my goodbyes. The silence was broken by a small breeze and the sound of crows in the distance, declaring their home among the giants. The old man Redwood said nothing, but only stared back. I was just a passing figure, among many throughout time, as I tipped my hat and gave my farewells, to the giants of the forests.
