Trump's STFU Address Failed Badly - Millions of Americans Realized They Can't Eat Lies. Higher prices. Smaller paychecks. Fewer jobs. Trump's economy is a disaster.

 

Thankfully... I did not watch the State of the Union Address... I put my television on PBS Passport and watched an ecology show called "Climate California" -  it was real interesting with practical recommendations on how we can prevent climate change from destroying California... And it had many interviews with people from Humboldt State University who were forestry majors... Including interviews while they were climbing a redwood tree!

Trees remove CO2 from the atmosphere and redwood trees remove the most because they're the biggest! Although another major life form that removes CO2 from the atmosphere is plankton in the ocean...

I’m going to need some heavy duty detox - I watched the whole turbid spillage of endless unrebutted lies. OMG…. What a slick sick poisonous Wormtongue! What a deadly drone of despicable distortion! What a defamation of the world’s greatest stage…. what an abuse of power. What a difficult challenge for us, we the people, to rise up against and reclaim the fundamental right of truth in our communications with our government. I think the ball is in our court, and it’s up to us to act.

Spanberger gave a great, beautiful rebuttal speech. But the power differential loomed large. We are going to need a flood of powerful responses from all of our hundreds of leaders, both the well established and the emerging. And key to it all, we somehow have to break through the pattern of being ignored and/or dismissed by the bulk of the mainstream media. We have to light a fire of passionate love for our country and our democracy, and make it visible everywhere. We have to draw people out of the dark and into the light of progressive liberal compassionate inclusive governance.
