How many times (as a woman) have you been told "oh, that won't happen" "oh, they didn't really mean that" (or the best one I have EVER heard) "I don't know what you are talking about, cause we have "always" had rights"?
When I was eighteen years old and a new high school graduate and a freshman in college, I tried to get a credit card. I was handed the application and told a "male relative" would have to sign for me to be "allowed" to get a credit card in my name. When I tried to purchase a new car, I was told my "dad" or a "brother" would have to come into the bank and sign on the document that it was okay for me to purchase a vehicle in my name. (Now on this one, me being the nice polite southern girl I was at the time, I was "kind of sarcastic" and said "my brother is thirteen".) And lo and behold, I was told my THIRTEEN year old brother could give me permission to purchase a vehicle. NOT my mother, or a sister (which I didn't have one anyway), or an aunt, or a grandMOTHER, but a MALE relative had to sign for me to purchase a vehicle. Didn't matter the male wasn't even of legal age, all that mattered was he was of the male gender.
Now, what has this got do with anything? It is telling all these people out there that can't understand what USSC is doing is TAKING OUR RIGHTS AWAY FROM US. They are taking rights our mothers and grandmothers fought for.
I am seventy years YOUNG, and I remember the aunt that was lying in a pool of blood after a "botched" abortion. She almost died. This was before Roe vs Wade. I remember the CHILD that was raped by her father and FORCED to have the baby and then her mother was FORCED to raise the child and the true mother of the child was told she was the baby's SISTER, because that is how things work. I am old enough to remember stories from friends after I was grown up of their fathers "using them and then passing them around to their friends", because that is how things work. I remember the man who drilled holes in the wall of his daughters bedroom and in the wall of the bathroom so he could "supervise" them to make sure they were "all right".
To all of the church members who are cheering for this "about to happen" strike down of a "law of our land". SHAME ON YOU. What gives you the right to decide what a PERSON of ANY GENDER is allowed to do? What gives you the right to judge that person. Do you know the "whole story", or do you just know what you are "allowed" to see?
I had someone write on a post last night that they can't take a woman's voting right because it is an amendment to the Constitution. Folks, apparently we are not ruling by the constitution any more. We are ruling by PARTS of the Christian Bible.
I would love to look into the future and see the surprise on most of these "holier than thou's" when the rapture comes and they are left standing in the church looking around and trying to figure out why they were left behind. I know some people who could probably explain to them why they should read the WHOLE Bible, and not "pick and choose".
My Bible says "judge not, lest ye be judged". What does your say?

I love you all. Believe me, I do. And before you decide to preach to me about the Bible, YOU need to read the whole thing. Don't pick and choose. Read it all. You can't take a line here and a line there and tell me what the whole book says. You have to read it all.
We have to stand up and fight on this one. Pro choice does NOT mean pro abortion. IT MEANS PRO CHOICE. No one should have the right to tell a woman what she can or cannot do with her body.
(And by the way, my Bible gives the recipe to get rid of a baby, using bitter water. My Bible also says life begins with the first breath. It also says it a woman with child is injured and dies the person who struck her is a murderer, BUT if the mother lives and she loses the child, the person has to pay the father silver coins for the loss (for some reason this, in my mind, means the loss of the child is not considered murder. What about your opinion?)
