Constantine the Great, was Roman emperor from AD 306 to 337. He was the first emperor to convert to Christianity.[h]
According to Christian chroniclers Eusebius of Caesarea and Lactantius, the battle marked the beginning of Constantine's conversion to Christianity. Eusebius of Caesarea recounts that Constantine and his soldiers had a vision sent by the Christian God. This was interpreted as a promise of victory. The Arch of Constantine, erected in celebration of the victory, certainly attributes Constantine's success to divine intervention; however, the monument does not display any overtly Christian symbolism. (and if he had ACTUALLY had a Vision during that battle, it would certainly appear in the Sculptures...)

The Arch of Constantine is a triumphal arch in Rome dedicated to the emperor Constantine the Great. The arch was commissioned by the Roman Senate to commemorate Constantine's victory over Maxentius at the Battle of Milvian Bridge in AD 312.

Dear Mr Vanderlaan,
I checked this out and it looks like you are absolutely right. As you can imagine, I don’t write all of the texts we use for these films and as I am not personally an expert on Constantine’s reign (or his arch), I accepted a text provided by the broadcaster. I don’t remember voicing this particular claim, but I do regret it. I often have to wrestle with the other people involved in these productions over pieces of text that are poorly informed or expressed. Television is a highly multiauthorial enterprise. But rest assured, this was an innocent error, not a squalid attempt to deflect from the glory of Sol invictus.
