Plastic is made from Oil. I reduced my use of Plastic by stopping buying water in Bottles... Got a Filter Pitcher instead. Stopped Drinking COKE Too...

JB Commented:
I don't use a vehicles bigger than I need for the situation. I have a bicycle, e-bike, motorcycle, and SUV. Mostly for my own personal enjoyment but it does save lots of gas. I also live in a basement apartment because it suits me better than a house. I use rechargeable LED lights that go on and off by themselves most of the time.

JB SAID:
Some of the things I've done to decrease my carbon footprint.
Using LED Lighting
Using one room at a time during the cooling season.
Using a well-maintained fuel efficient 4-cylinder.
Using LPG instead of oil
Using a tankless:
Heating & Hot Water system.
Working at Home

SE SAID:
all electric house fed by nuclear plant, 50 mpg hybrid car, 24 solar panels.

Nothin....I'm keep'n my cadillac. my furnace is running as we speak. 'central alberta'. Alberta is oil country. I do my part to keep the industry going. Oil, means a good life, good solid high paying jobs. The Big machine runs on oil.

I've stopped flying overseas. I use the car only 2xs a week (it's a 2017 and there are fewer than 23,000 miles on her). I stopped taking showers every day (actually, pandemic led me to that). I collect rain water for toilets and plants. I compost. Buy local.

GG SAID:
Drive only when necessary, find the most fuel efficient way to drive somewhere and never drive during rush hours. I have a 2010 Mazda 3, I bought in 2009, I have only about 60,000 miles on it.

I SAID:
Drive My Car Less... I Hardly Go anywhere anymore... and when I do, I have a valid reason... I stopped Flying in Jet Airplanes. The Last Flight was in 2001 to meet my New In-Laws... I Have Not Gotten Married Since then so... No Real Reason to Fly! We Have our Family Christmas Party on Zoom... Years ago everyone drove to Our Uncle's House...

GJ SAID:
Well before 2010, 100% renewable energy electricity plan.
2011 installed solar panels on the roof.
2017 bought an all electric car, which I charge at home.
2023 turned off the natural gas to the house.

OWK SAID:
Nothing. We rent. But we don't really drive. But depend on Walmart and Amazon to deliver. So I guess we depend on them to find efficient ways of delivering our stuff. So that is something.
