I have some personal experience that can shed a little light on this subject... I lived in Washington DC, San Jose, Chico and Eureka.
I found that the quality of life was best in Eureka where almost all of the residents are White People.
Chico is another town that is almost all White and it's great! Outside of the main part of town there's a lot of farms and most of the people are Hispanic. Somehow we all seem to get along...
Both Washington DC and San Jose California have so-called "minority groups" and I'm glad that I don't live around those people anymore...

Now I live in an Old Folks Home. We have six people that live here. All of them are white people. All of the employees are black or brown. When you stop to think about it, it's the lifestyle of the Pre-Civil War Plantation South... Very similar to how Thomas Jefferson and George Washington lived...

I have actually visited Mexico and Canada. In 1975 we went as tourists to Northern Mexico and I must admit that it really sucked... And we never went back... I found that the crowds of starving children selling Chiclets to tourists was disturbing... And if I'm going to go somewhere on vacation, I want to have a good time...
