Legalize Medicinal Psychedelics: Why Not Let Doctors and Patients Decide What Medicine is Best? Get the BRIBED Politicians OUT! They Are Puppets of Big Pharma!

 If the FDA Regulated Psychedelics; Quality, Purity and Dosage Testing would protect the consumer from Unknown Dangerous Drugs. Currently, Criminals That Sell "ACID" often Mix a Witches Brew of Chemicals that Make People Feel Strange... For Example: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine makes for a Pill that Truly "Blows Your Mind" but Often Kills the Consumer...

American Flag - NAZI - Poster - Wes Wilson

The first poster to bring Wes Wilson to the doorstep of future fame back in 1965.... I've got my original and rare first printing framed in very fitting chrome barbed wire with blood red barbs that I made. One of the very first posters that Wes signed for me over 50 years ago!
We're not too far off the mark these days.... more than ever!

Mountain Girl and Bus
Mountain Girl and Bus

Magic Bus with a whole lotta people sitting on it

The Merry Pranksters are a group of people who formed around American author Ken Kesey in 1964 and sometimes lived communally at his homes in California and Oregon. The group promoted the use of psychedelic drugs. Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters are noted for the sociological significance of a lengthy road trip they took in the summer of 1964, traveling across the United States in a psychedelic painted school bus enigmatically and variably labeled "Further" or "Furthur". Their early escapades were chronicled by Tom Wolfe in The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test. Wolfe also documents a notorious 1966 trip on Further from Mexico thru Houston, stopping to visit Kesey's friend novelist Larry McMurtry. Kesey was on the lam from a drug charge at the time.
Notable members of the group include Kesey's best friend Ken Babbs and Neal Cassady, Carolyn Garcia (also known as Mountain Girl), Wavy Gravy, Paul Krassner, Stewart Brand, Del Close, Paul Foster, Kentucky Fab Five author Ed McClanahan (also known as "Captain Kentucky"), Gurney Norman, George Walker, Sandy Lehmann-Haupt, Anonymous (Linda Breen) and John Page Browning (also known as "Rampage" or the "Cadaverous Cowboy").
A hippie was a member of a liberal counterculture, originally a youth movement that started in the United States and the United Kingdom during the mid-1960s and spread to other countries around the world. The word hippie came from hipster and was initially used to describe beatniks who had moved into New York City's Greenwich Village and San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury district. The term hippie was first popularized in San Francisco by Herb Caen, who was a journalist for the San Francisco Chronicle. The origins of the terms hip and hep are uncertain, although by the 1940s both had become part of African American jive slang and meant "sophisticated; currently fashionable; fully up-to-date”. The Beats adopted the term hip, and early hippies inherited the language and countercultural values of the Beat Generation. Hippies created their own communities, listened to psychedelic music, embraced the sexual revolution, and used drugs such as cannabis, LSD, peyote and psilocybin mushrooms to explore altered states of consciousness. In January 1967, the Human Be-In in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco popularized hippie culture, leading to the Summer of Love on the West Coast of the United States, and the 1969 Woodstock Festival on the East Coast. Hippies in Mexico, known as jipitecas, formed La Onda and gathered at Avándaro, while in New Zealand, nomadic housetruckers practiced alternative lifestyles and promoted sustainable energy at Nambassa. In the United Kingdom in 1970, many gathered at the gigantic Isle of Wight Festival with a crowd of around 400,000 people. I was there! In later years, mobile "peace convoys" of New Age travelers made summer pilgrimages to free music festivals at Stonehenge and elsewhere. In Australia, hippies gathered at Nimbin for the 1973 Aquarius Festival and the annual Cannabis Law Reform Rally or MardiGrass. "Piedra Roja Festival", a major hippie event in Chile, was held in 1970. Hippie fashion and values had a major effect on culture, influencing popular music, television, film, literature, and the arts. Since the 1960s, many aspects of hippie culture have been assimilated by mainstream society.
During the past few years, attempts to put on exhibits to expound on the Hippies or Summer of Love or of Woodstock was and is well meant, but somewhat futile as is like trying to capture lighting in a bottle….. Nice try, but (IMHO) …no cigar. The philosophies of the true Hippie does still live on but these days to run across a true Hippie is a lot harder than you may think. Alas…..keep your eyes open, they’re still out there just the same, but not always where you may think them to be.
Still lett'in MY Freak Flag Fly!

and then SC Replied:
I was born too late to be a TRUE Hippie (1962), but I am & always will be a Hippie in my Heart. I got on the Grateful Dead bus in 1980 & never got off
☮️❤️ I've kept the ideals of peace, love & environmental activism my whole life! I'm married to a slightly older, late blooming Hippie as well. (40yrs next month!)

and then SD Said:
A hippie was a lifestyle choice not a person or thing we lived on in our lives with a acceptance mindset that went beyond being liberal it was being truer to our inner spiritual self and a willingness to accept that we may not change others but we could change ourselves I know many that have not changed a bit and some who have but I judge not least I believe in the inherent ability of our creator to give us strength to adapt to change and still be able to be a hippie at our core Loving caring forgiving gentle and generous humans...

and SOC Said:
Very well explained and very accurate. I lived it and my inner Hippie lives on at age 70. I'm so glad to have come up in that Era, with all the great music, experimentation, play, and fantastic creativity. We were encouraged to be ourselves, not clones. We were colorful, to say the least. And we were well intentioned, with perhaps an air of too much naiveté....I so agree with you that the summer Hippie Fests are just so wanna- be and syrupy. You really had to live it to really get it. It truly was spontaneous and very organic. To recreate it just isn't possible in today's world. Blessed am I have to have been part of that scene while it lasted.

Aoxomoxoa Hawaii Concert Poster

• HOLY GRAIL of ROCK POSTERS •
One of the most rare and sought after psychedelic rock posters from any era. From the summer of 1969 comes this Hawaiian Aoxomoxoa by the late & legendary Rock Artist Extraordinaire Rick Griffin. It was for a show that was CANCELLED so the posters are very few and far between, only a couple of dozen are known to exist! Griffin did the first Aoxomoxoa for a series of shows the Grateful Dead did in January of 1969 at the Avalon ballroom, and the Dead in turn, flipped that artwork into the cover of their third album. Griffin reworked the art from those shows, into the Hawaiian Aoxomoxoa. This poster is SOOOOO VERY rare. It was for an event in Hawaii, that was supposed to be for three days at the Honolulu international Center in Honolulu Hawaii. Besides the Dead, It's a Beautiful Day was also on the bill. Can you imagine how many hours went into this poster ?!
The shows were cancelled, the promoter never paid the printer, and the printer threw most of the items in the trash can. Of course there wasn't a collectors market for these items at the time. Legend has it that Rick Griffin captured a few before they were thrown out and brought them back on the plane with him. A few of the cut ones, and a few of the ones with the handbills still not cut off of them. These are the ONLY remaining ones that have survived.
And so it was on this day 54 years ago that the Aoxomoxoa Tour with the Grateful Dead, It's a Beautiful Day and Starchild at the Honolulu International Center was "supposed" to take place. The second reprinting of this poster is somewhat smaller than the original and is recently beginning to rise in price as well. The second printing as seen here also has a white border while it is black on the original as you can see in my framed picture of the poster in the comments.

Aloha.... Share this rare one!

and...

We ought to legalize marijuana Nationwide in the USA...

~~~~~~ (~);-} ~~~~~~
Little Known Fact of Life!
Marijuana is Still Illegal on Federally Owned Land... For Example: At the Rainbow Gathering this Summer... Marijuana was Illegal even though the Gathering was Held in Colorado...
Because The Gathering was Held in a National Forest... and The NARCS Arrested People... Very Confused People that Didn't Realize that They Were on Federally Owned Land...
Like: How Would ANYONE Know if they were in a State Park or a National Park?
That's The CRAZYLAWS® In The USA!
God, Heal Me - a How to guide. An Exercise and Meditation Program to Improve My Circulation. I'm Pre-Diabetic... Frankly Speaking, I Don't Believe in God BUT Maybe God Believes in ME!
I started doing this about a Week Ago and I Can Feel Some Improvement. However, I'm Still Going to Go to My Doctor Soon...
My Main Exercise is Bouncing on the Balls of My Feet while Holding onto a Bar Mounted on the Wall of The Bathroom. While Standing, I Raise my Heels about an Inch off the Floor and then Lower them to About a Quarter Inch. Bouncy, Bouncy, Bouncy for about a Minute. I Do this Every Time I Go to the Bathroom... Maybe Eight Times a Day? I Don't Know... Occasionally I Bend my Knees but That's not the Main Event.
The Meditation is Done Lying Down While Watching TV. During the Commercials I Turn Off the Sound and Close my Eyes.
I Take an Extremely Large Breath and say the Word "God" - Then I Exhale Normally. Then I Inhale and Say "Heal" Exhale and Inhale and say "Me" Exhale...
The Fundamental Technique is to Inhale as Much as Possible... Pushing My Belly out to Inflate My Diaphram... Say a Word... and Then Relax and Exhale Whatever Feels Natural... and All The While I'm Moving My Toes in a Circular Motion... Moving them as Far as Possible as I Rotate Them...
The REASON I Do this Lying Down is I want to Make Sure I Don't Fall Down When I Get Dizzy... and after about Nine Breaths I'm Starting to Get Dizzy from Hyperventilating... and Then It's Time to Check to See IF The TV Show Has Restarted. At the Very Least, I Get to Reject The Advertising Brainwashing... and Contact God Instead! I often Change the Words... Like: "God, What Should I Write?" or "God, What is My Divine Purpose?" WhatEVER...
I saw this Breathing Technique in a TV Show about Wim Hof. Supposedly He Cured Frostbite in His Feet Doing This... and Many Other "Unbelievable" Actions... Like: Climbing Mount Everest in Shorts and Tennis Shoes without Oxygen Tanks... Swimming in 32 Degree Water... and Training Other People to Be Able to Withstand Extreme Cold... I Don't Know if Any of This BBC TV Show was True but... I'm Taking What I can Learn and Doing It Myself!
 https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0bwtn6q
and then Joe Blow on Mastodon said:
There is no god. If you have pre-diabetes, better get a prescription of Metformin. That would be much more helpful.
and I Replied: I have a Real Doctor and He Prescribes Many Pre-Diabetes Drugs... and I test my Blood Daily - and Go to the Clinic every 6 months... OF COURSE, My health is NOT an Either/Or situation... I do Both! I don't actually believe in GOD but I might be wrong... anyway... Doing Meditation using a Sanskrit Mantra seems Absurd... So I Choose to Chant a Mantra IN ENGLISH...
Here is a Video of a Healing Ceremony She Lead at a Rainbow Gathering... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2r0I8VoxJY
I met her at the Rainbow Gathering in Utah and Participated in her Workshop. I Took a Business Card and Later Participated in the Online Self Help Broadcasts. She Has a Fundamentally Valid Concept. I did it for about a Year... It's Worthwhile Technique... It's a A Combination of Acupuncture (without using actual needles) and Positive Ideas... I Still Use What I Learned... I plan to Use The Guided Meditation technique to relax and Focus Attention for the Rest of My Life... We put pressure on Specific Locations of our body by tapping lightly with our fingers while she told us reassuring statements and we would all repeat what she said... Like: "I Love and Respect Myself..." or... "I Love and ACCEPT Myself..."
On FaceBORG SE Said: I know a lot of people are acting like there is no more COVID, but here in the Bay Area, we currently have the highest infection rate in CA. Now is not the time to let your guard down! It’s summer now, I’m sure you’ve got lots of things you’re looking forward to: vacations, etc. Do you want your summer to be ruined because you got COVID and had to stay home? Of course not! It isn’t hard to protect yourself by wearing a mask. The problem is that with no mandate, too many people have STOPPED wearing a mask. That’s why cases are surging yet again. I guess they aren’t planning to bring back the mandate, so it’s up to us to protect ourselves as best we can. Mask up, stay up to date on your boosters, and avoid crowded indoor spaces. Don’t let COVID ruin your summer!
and I Replied: Wearing Masks is a Good Idea... I have a New Housemate and Many People in His Family Come to Visit... and they ALL Wear Masks... and Whenever I Go Out, I Wear a Mask. However, The Current Residents Don't Wear Masks at Our Home... We all have been unmasked around each other for YEARS... Not Only is Masking Good For Preventing Infection by COVID - 19 but It Also Keeps THE FLU Away...
and She Said: Oh yes, I should have mentioned the flu and the common cold in my post, because those can also ruin a person’s summer plans. Wearing a mask is the best way to avoid all airborne illnesses, along with washing your hands. Protect yourself, stay healthy, and enjoy your summer!
SE SAID: Another thing I keep hearing about this latest COVID variant which is spreading rapidly here in the Bay Area: apparently most people are sick for a much longer stretch of time than they were with earlier variants. All the more reason to be extra cautious, in my opinion. You will most likely recover, but do you really want to lose several weeks of your summer from being sick? I sure don’t. I wish they’d bring back the mask mandate. I don’t understand why they aren’t bringing it back. With so many maskless people everywhere, it’s no wonder this thing is spreading so rapidly. Please WEAR A MASK in crowded indoor spaces. The pandemic is NOT over, despite what you may have heard.
GN Replied:
We split our time between Folsom and the Bay Area. In Folsom you can easily count the number of people still wearing masks in public (like me) because we stand out anymore, whereas in the Bay Area (Richmond, Berkeley, San Rafael) you can easily count the maskless because more people are still being sensible and wearing them. You also don’t see any tRump worship signs and raised trucks in the Bay Area, which is a pretty obvious correlation.
SE Replied:
 Lately I feel like one of the only people wearing a mask, and I’ve started wearing a KN95 in some places because it freaks me out that so few people are wearing them. I just don’t get why people don’t care about getting sick. Don’t they have jobs? Don’t they have stuff they have to get done? Who can afford to just give up weeks of their life for an illness if there are ways of avoiding it?
I Said: Today we had an Inspection by the State of California Licensing... The People that Regulate Old Folks Homes and... ALL of Them Were Wearing Masks... and then Suddenly The Care Givers were wearing Masks TOO.
We, The Residents Were Not...
and Family Members that Come Visit ALL Wear Masks.
Shasta the Cat Surveying his Empire
Shasta the Cat Surveying his Empire
Pongo in the Window
and then Victoria Posted on Faceborg...
There are some circumstances that are beyond the scope of my rationalization, and I was privy to one yesterday. Pongo was sitting in the window pictured below, as he is wont to do, and one of the hummingbirds flew right in front of his face. He didn't flinch, begin tapping his tail, or start making creaky door noises. They just stared at each other in companionable silence, until a second hummer showed up and the quiet conversation continued. All was calm, all was bright. Then they zoomed around the corner to the feeder for lunch. He didn't follow them with his gaze or interest.
Pongo is 6 years old and I've had him for 3. He was picked up by the Sheriff's Dept. (ie: on the street) and later brought to Sequoia Humane Society where he spent 8 months before coming home with Emma and me. While at the shelter in the cat room, I was talking to the volunteer and he came and sat in front of me, so I bent down to say hi and give him a pat, but he wasn't having it. That's ok, Little One, that's ok. Later, getting ready to leave the cat room and make preparations to bring Emma home, I realized he was sitting on my feet! I'd been so tied up in watching the other kitkats playing and conversing with the tech, I hadn't noticed! Well, whattya know! We're bringing home two kitties today! His ears were torn up, his back had a long, healed scar with no hair, as did one shoulder, and he would flinch if I tried to touch him for a year. Now he sleeps on my lap, plays Calvin and Hobbes with Emma, and is the Earnest Guardian of the Household, particularly for Meadow, our 18 year old. The scars have hair, though solid black, sad reminders. And, he's never purred or meowed, but that's ok, Little One, that's ok. It reminds me much of the boy in Jeremiah Johnson who also did not speak. So it brings me to yesterday when there was so obviously a communion between Pongo and the teeny birds. Being a natural predator, he didn't have the need or desire to hunt them, and I found that remarkable from someone who, possibly, was once hunted.
Sign at Panther Meadow on Mount Shasta - Sacred Spring
Sign at Panther Meadow on Mount Shasta, a Sacred Spring
The Origin of the Names Shasta and Meadow... My Second Ex-Wife was working as a Data Entry Clerk in Chico and One of the Other Employees Had a Litter and We Took Two Grey and White Kittens. I Was Given the Task of Naming The Kittens and I Called them Panther and Meadow. Well, I was Overruled because She Said: "No House Cats Will Be Named Lion or Tiger or Panther."
In General, Shasta Was My Favorite Because He Was A Disobedient Large Male Cat. JUST LIKE ME!
When We Moved from Chico to Eureka We Almost Lost Shasta. We Were Staying at A Cheap Motel in Fortuna and When It Became Time to Leave We Couldn't Find Shasta. LOOKED EVERYWHERE... I Was Ready to Give Up But My Second Ex-Wife Crawled On the Floor and Found Him Inside the Box Spring...
Whenever it Was Time to Go To The Vet, I Was Given the Task of Capturing the Cat and Stuffing It Into The Travel Bag. OFTEN That Was An EPIC Struggle... With Shasta the Cat I Had to Wrestle Him and There WAS DOUBT as to Who Would Win The Wrestling Match.
When Shasta was Very Near Death, He Would Walk Around the House in a Straight Line Until He Bumped Into a Wall or a Piece of Furniture... Then He Would Randomly Turn Right or Left and Continue Walking. That Worked Unless He Walked into a Corner of the Room When Neither a Right or Left Turn Worked. SO... In That Case I Picked Him Up at Pointed Him in a New Direction. One Night After I Had Retired He Walked Around Like That For Hours. I ALSO Walked Around Picking Up Trash and Putting It In The Dumpster... Eventually He just Lay Down in One Spot and I Sat Down in a Spot Where I Could Look at Him and I Contemplated The Meaning of Life For Hours... That Was A Meaningful Night... and Then He Got Up and Survived a Few More Days... Then He Stuck His Head into a Pile of Stuff in the "Junk Room" and Did Not Move for Days... I Told My Second Ex-Wife That It Seems Like Shasta Has Died but She Said... "We'll Just Wait a While." At That Point I Took a Vacation to Chico to Visit Friends For a Couple of Weeks and When I Got Back, Shasta Had Been Cremated and Was in a Wooden Box.
I Buried Amelia in the Redwood Forest Behind our Apartment in Cutten. That Was Difficult Because Roots Criss-Cross Everywhere and I Had to Chop Them With the Shovel.
When She Was Very Old She Was Deaf and Blind but Still Knew Her Way Around the Yard. I Guess That She Had Memorized the Location of Everything and Could Travel Without and Trouble to Go Visit Her Favorite Places...
During My College Years I Read the Book "A Language Older Than Words" by Derrick Jensen. A Deep Ecology Story About Inter Species Communication. (and Environmentalism) - Amelia Walked on the Computer Keyboard While I Was Writing a Term Paper About That Book... and I Left those Random Letters in The Report. With an Explanation of What they Were..
I Have No Pictures of Sherbet. He Lived With Us On Highway #99 North of Chico and Walked Across the Road. Got Run Over by a Truck.
As The Cats Die We Replaced Them With Others. Emma and Pongo Came from the Humboldt County Animal Shelter and They Already Had Their Names. https://sequoiahumane.org/
I Have Never Been Inside the Shelter. Volunteers Walk The Dogs Past Our House Every Day... We Live a Few Blocks Up The Hill... and We Wave at The Dog Walkers...
