Nimarata Nikki Haley (nÊe Randhawa; born January 20, 1972)[1][2][3] is an American politician and diplomat who served as the 116th governor of South Carolina from 2011 to 2017 and as the 29th United States ambassador to the United Nations from January 2017 to December 2018.[4] A member of the Republican Party, Haley is the first Indian American to serve in a presidential cabinet.[5]

Haley joined her family's clothing business before serving as treasurer and then president of the National Association of Women Business Owners. She was elected to the South Carolina House of Representatives in 2004 and served three terms. In 2010, during her third term, she was elected governor of South Carolina. Haley was South Carolina's first female governor and the second U.S. governor of Indian descent, after Bobby Jindal of Louisiana.

In January 2017, Haley resigned as governor to become U.S. ambassador to the United Nations in the administration of Donald Trump.[6] The U.S. Senate confirmed her by a vote of 96–4. She stepped down as ambassador on December 31, 2018.[7]

Haley is a candidate in the 2024 Republican Party presidential primaries. She announced her campaign in February 2023.[8]

What If Gen XYZ Take Over the Government. Throw OUT all the Old People and Elect a New Generation to Lead... This HAS to Happen Eventually... What About 2024?

I Don't Know the Names of any Young People Except: David Hogg & Emma Gonzalez (March For Our Lives)... and He would Make a Great President... But He's only 23 Years Old... and She's 24... They Can't be President YET...
or

David Hogg and Emma Gonsalez of March for Our Lives

Greta Thunberg is also a Powerful Political Leader... But She's Not an American... She Can't be President...

Elon Mush Cannot Run For President Because He was Born in South Africa.

Mark Zuckerberg CAN Run for President. Over 35 Years Old and Born in the USA... Now THAT'S a Scary Thought!

The Only Other Name I Know is Taylor Swift (a Singer/Songwriter) I Wonder IF She would be Interested in Running for Office? She's 33 Years Old so too Young for 2024 but NOT too young for 2028.

and then Darryl Cherney Said:
My heart hurts. As Abby moves to go to middle school in Arcata and her mom has already emptied her place here to be up there with her guy, I look at all the gifts I've given that are being left behind and given away and I am reminded of the love, the big love, that went into each one. Each is a reminder of a moment, a time of happiness long gone. Sometimes I'm made fun of for giving too many presents, but I got that from my mom and I'm fine with it. There's the swimming pool, the playground, all the special furniture, the renovations, the clothes, the two sweet Mother's Day cats left behind (now I've got 5 cats), and so much more. It all hurts to remember the deep love that went behind every action and how it's been discarded. My farm hands are gone and I'm alone with Abby to make do before I move in 2 weeks(!) with our two small dogs half time or more to a good friend's RV in McKinleyville to support her schoolwork while I try to find some one perhaps to look over this place. Oh, I know I'm blessed and privileged to have found an affordable rental and that I have the resources to do all this. At 67 and living out the last third of my life with a lot of unfinished work, this major shift in my world is a lot for my heart to take in and all the while, a lot for my body to do.

and JB Replied:
As a man who has gone through similar changes in his life, I’m right there with you!! I applaud your ability to say here on Facebook…. I’m with you Darryl.. always thought you are a shining star for all of us since I was a teenager, deadhead, hippie, I looked to you for inspiration and guidance.. if there is anything I can do for you lmk?? I’m here on Hawaii.. so not sure but ??? Right?!

and Darryl Replied:
You taught me one important lesson I carry with me and quote to this day. It was about music but it can apply to everything: "give 'em space."

and SC Said:
As one who has lost everything in a forest fire, you find things vanish, but the memories & magic of their being fly within us forever, especially those imbued with love... This world of illusions is a transient place, about letting go of everything, even our lives eventually... Love is really all there is and lasts beyond the boundaries of time & space...

SE Said:
These material things may seem discarded, but I am sure the love isn't. You've poured all of that into her, and I feel quite sure she'll spring no leaks - in fact as she keeps growing, her vessel will enlarge to contain even more. đŸ˜‰ đŸ’š

and JB Said:
There is a plastic Playschool Car sitting next to my garden house. I see it everyday and remember the joy I and m kids had while pushing them around in it. They are now twenty one and twenty three and it's almost hard to believe they grew up so fast. Have some reminders around of those to see and reflect. A favorite of mine are the self portraits they did at Skyfish School that hang in my kitchen...

and then BEAR Said:
Oh man, I can relate. I look back at all we’ve gave and it seems so much a flash in the pan. Me, I’m inundated with stuff. Stuff I’m not sure what to do with. The princess castles and old puzzles are one thing, but the pieces of one’s life are another.
What I think is that the blessings have yet to come. My, how raising children has changed me. I’m still in the throes. Soon we’ll have adult children and it will all change again.
Chin up compadre!

and then QB Said:
Take each hour at a time , moments even n don't sit down , than you will want to retire , sheer tenacity will get you through , fueled with desire of greater for your daughter , an invested father is such a gift , so many cut n run , i have complete faith in you ♥️👊đŸŊ

Video of me singing "White Rabbit" by The Jefferson Airplane. and playing a classical guitar...

https://youtu.be/C7R_eq3ukUo

One of the most powerful anthems of the Baby Boomer Generation. Written by Grace Slick. It's a retelling of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. It has a beat like Ravel's BOLERO. See the official video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WANNqr-vcx0

I was performing on the streets of Chico, California when a member of the audience showed me how to get the military beat by strumming using all four fingers... Thanks!

Casualties of American Soldiers reduced dramatically during my lifetime. War is simply not fashionable anymore.

When the US Government tells you to go fight pointless wars, Decline. Be Disobedient, It Might Save Your Life.
US War Casualties
click on the picture to see it bigger.
Revolution=25,000
Civil War=750,000,
WW1=116,000,
WW2=405,000,
Korea=36,000,
Vietnam 58,000

about 7,000 total in all the recent wars:
Panama, Nicaragua, Gulf War, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Not Shown is the Unknown Quantity of Soldier Suicides.

Since 1975 war has changed... many wars, few Americans Die...
Now with DRONES... we can commit genocide from an office in the USA.

Here is a Revelation told to me by a Vietnam Veteran friend. It was not his fault that his men died in combat. It was JFK and LBJ that put them in harm's way. If we had not gone halfway around the world to fight someone else's civil war, those men would be alive. This understanding helped with my friend's PTSD.

One thing I learned from the book "Will" by Gordon Liddy. He states that we could have won the Vietnam War if we had simply ATTEMPTED to win. Gordon was shy about stating exactly what it would mean to Attempted to win but... I believe what he was hinting at was... an Atomic Bomb on Hanoi... we had the technology and we knew exactly what worked... Hiroshima and Nagasaki... but we did not actually try to win. Many believe that the Vietnam War was really the USA vs China... and the Vietnamese may not have surrendered after Nuking Hanoi... so If we REALLY wanted to win we would have also had to Nuke Beijing. However, the Mission was to sell a lot of weapons to the pentagon. Corporate Profit. Monsanto and Dow Chemical sold a lot of Agent Orange... and Hughes Aircraft sold Helicopters... as he sang... "There's plenty good money to be made, supplying the Army with the Tools of the Trade" - Country Joe McDonald.

I'm Reading a sequel to 'Ender's Game' by Orson Scott Card. This book is Great! 'Ender in Exile' ... Two (2) predictions of his that came true already.
1. We would Fight War by Remote Control... like a Video Game... like DRONES... 2. Ender's brother and sister publish thoughtful essays on the 'net' as 'Locke' and 'Demosthenes' and influence public opinion and therefore political policy... kinda like Huffington Post, anonymous, online Cannabis Activists or Cop Block... self appointed sages online... Me too...

"Never has so much Military, Economic and Diplomatic Power been Used so ineffectively as in Vietnam. If after all of this time and all of this sacrifice and all of this support there is still no end in sight, then I say the time has come for the American People to turn to new leadership, not tied to the policies and mistakes of the past. I pledge to you we will have an honorable end to the War in Vietnam." - Richard Nixon Television Advertisement

We have to thank President Nixon for ending the Vietnam War. He Campaigned on Ending the war and KEPT HIS PROMISE!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?list=PL9D950B20FD5725CC&v=W3KoYveOmiQ

Nixon's Idea was Vietnamization of the War. Simply put, Let those people over there fight their own civil war... It's really none of our business.

Our DNA is evolving every generation... Not Just Physically but also Spiritually... By studying the mistakes my parents and grandparents made, I can recognise them and not repeat them... And this is not just me...
Everyone Worldwide is Moving Forward to a Bright Future...

Think Back to The Dark Days of the Past...
My Uncle, A Korean War Veteran Said: "In My Day, When the Government Told You to Go to War, You Just Went." Well, those Days are Gone. Since Vietnam, No One is Told to Go Fight Wars Anywhere... It's All Volunteers...

Once Upon a time, "The Numbers Games" were Illegal Gambling...
And The Mafia ran it...
Now we have the Lottery, Run by the State
and the Crime of Illegal Gambling Magically Vanished.
Zero Tax Dollars are Spent on Enforcing
The Laws Prohibiting The Illegal "Numbers Games".

Once Upon a Time, Homosexuality Was Illegal.
And there was a Lot of Tax Dollars Spent
Enforcing The Laws... Police would
send undercover agents to hang around
men's bathrooms to catch Gay Men...
Really! They were called the Vice Squad.

A Hobby of Mine... Distributing Truth on Facebook...

Fact: JFK and LBJ have the blood of Vietnam on their hands... It was Nixon that ended the war. His policy of "Vietnamization" makes so much sense... Those people over there ought to fight their own civil war... It's none of our Business.

VK: OK, who hacked into Greg's FB and is writing like a revisionist Republican? Are you saying my first teenage vote to re-elect Nixon was the historically correct action? NROTC boy done good?

Greg Vanderlaan: I read a lot of history books, VK and while Richard Nixon campaigned against the war in Vietnam in 1968 he didn't actually end it until 1973... so he had 5 years of blood on his hands too... When we got to vote in 1972, both candidates were against the war... An insightful book is 'Will' by G. Gordon Liddy... and ALL of Bob Woodward's Books.

The Wall that Heals. A traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial

I'm impressed by High School Students Today. The March for our Lives movement gives me hope.

We have had a few generations of "Slackers" but this generation has the ability to be disobedient!
Good for them!
