What we have here is an immense and startlingly new oil and gas field — nighttime evidence of an oil boom created by a technology called fracking.

Those lights are rigs, hundreds of them, lit at night, or fiery flares of natural gas.

One hundred fifty oil companies, big ones, little ones, wildcatters, have flooded this region, drilling up to eight new wells every day on what is called the Bakken formation. Altogether, they are now producing 660,000 barrels a day — double the output two years ago — so that in no time at all, North Dakota is now the second-largest oil producing state in America. Only Texas produces more, and those lights are a sign that this region is now on fire ... to a disturbing degree. Literally.

and now I see on CSPAN that the House of Representatives is considering allowing Oil and Gas mining on Federal Land. The hearing had representatives from the corporations but I didn't see any environmentalists. There is a lot of money to be made for the State government and the corporations. New executive order by Trump allows Mining on National Monuments and they are moving ahead with drilling without any concern for the people who live nearby.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order in April that called for the U.S. Department of the Interior to reexamine the designation of 27 national monuments. Many of these treasured places house archeaological splendors and extraordinary flora and fauna. Without the official national monument designation, these cherished sites across the United States could be subject to cattle grazing, logging and drilling, according to #27 Monuments project, headed by journalist and filmmaker Brent Rose, who wants to educate the public about what's going on and to drive people to the Department of the Inerior's comments page to voice their concerns before the fast approaching July 10 deadline. Rose is attempting to visit as many of the sites in the U.S. as possible and document the journey on Instagram.

The Trump administration last Thursday released a plan to open up more than a million acres of public and private land to hydraulic fracturing in California. The lands being targeted cover several Central California counties including eastern Fresno, western Kern, Kings, Madera, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Tulare and Ventura.

California has had a 5-year fracking moratorium on federal land after a judge ruled for a pause in operations to better study the health and environmental impacts. As it already stands California's central valley has some of the worst air quality in the state. The plan is expected to be blocked by lawsuits that environmental groups are already readying.

How to save A LOT of Electricity and help prevent Global Warming... It's EASY!

Simply MOVE all marijuana farms OUTDOORS and grow the plants in the Sunshine instead of using Gro-Lights. Currently there are thousands of clandestine farms indoors using millions of fluorescent lights... The electricity that powers those lamps is often generated by burning natural gas or coal... Creating greenhouse gasses that cause Global Warming and Climate Change. For Example: All farms in Colorado are indoors... wasting electricity.

Another simple thing we could do is MOVE the Workplace closer to where people live. Many people work at office jobs... AND... Offices can be located in the anywhere. For Example: Google, Facebook and Twitter are all located in the Bay Area... those jobs could be done in Chico, Eureka, Sacramento or Mendocino where house prices are lower and there are fewer traffic jams... Current employees that own a house could sell their house for a Million Dollars and then buy a similar house for $300,000... AND PUT $700,000 IN THEIR POCKET. Quality of life is better without a two hour commute in traffic jams. We have the technology to move corporate headquarters to locations close to where people live. Simply map where the employees live move the workplace. That would save a LOT of Gasoline and Improve the people's mood leading to higher productivity.

Another simple thing we could do is convert Exercise bicycles and treadmills into electricity generators. Millions of people visit health clubs every day. Why not create electricity on the gym machines? Simply spin an alternator using the kinetic energy created by burning Human Fat. Sell that electricity to PG&E or SoCal Edison.

Trump advocates Fracking... mocks Wind Power... Fracking causes water pollution and severe health problems in people.

Just another example of how Trump is the puppet of Exxon and the fossil fuel industry. No thinking human could be in favor of fracking, they have to be bought.

New Coal Jobs report is fake news says MSNBC. Actual jobs were in fracking not coal mining.

The head of the EPA has exaggerated gain in coal jobs. He said there were 50,000 new coal mining jobs when in fact there are 50,000 jobs total in the entire industry. Somehow fracking jobs are counted as coal mining jobs in Trump's fantasy world.
