My father and I enjoyed Debating Politics and Foreign Policy... He said: (Metaphorically) "If you knock over a glass of milk, you should mop it up."

We were discussing the War in Iraq lead by Bush the Son and... His position was that SINCE Ronald Reagan helped Saddam Hussein become President of Iraq, we had a duty to remove him. It Didn't matter that President Reagan's actions were ASTONISHINGLY STUPID... We STILL should clean up the mess we made. My position was that the war in Iraq was a Bad Idea because Iraq had no Weapons of Mass Destruction, had no ties to Al-Qaeda and had nothing at all to do with 9/11. He agreed with all three of those statements but... we still had a duty to remove Saddam... we made him, we should unmake him... and I had to agree with his position... Keeping that in mind, I still went to 10 anti-war protest marches... once a year for a decade. Of Course, once "Our Man in Baghdad" Saddam was captured and executed... the war was TOTALLY INSANE.

We should forgive President Reagan... He was slipping into Alzheimer's Dementia and had NO FREAKING IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON... For Example: Iran/Contra and Nancy's "War on Drugs." Classic... She was addicted to Doctor Prescribed "Speed" and when she got clean, she decided that EVERYONE should quit drugs.. Standard Addict Behavior... Did you ever NOTICE how skinny she was? Obvious Meth Monkey...

The REAL Meaning of "Make America Great Again". It supposes that America was great at a TIME in the PAST... For Example 1950, 1850 or 1776

For something to be great AGAIN it had to be Great BEFORE... In my Opinion America is Great Right Now and there is No Need to Invent Time Travel...

For Example:
The 1950s was a time before Women's Liberation, Civil Rights, Hippies or Gay Rights...
It was a time of Father Knows Best, Leave it to Beaver, Happy Days and Beatniks...

I believe that When Ronald Reagan Spoke the Slogan "Let's Make America Great Again" he wanted to take America Back to the 1950s... Trump Stole Reagan's Slogan and HE ALSO felt that the 1950s were GREAT... For Example: The Queens Borough was filled with White People! NOW Queens is 75% NON-WHITE.

However... 1850 was also a really great time... Slavery was legal and the Civil War hadn't Happened... The South had giant Mansions like TARA in the "Gone With The Wind" Movie.

BUT... If we go even farther back... 1776 was a GREAT ERA. The Only People who were allowed to vote were Rich White Men... Does Trump Want to Take Us Back to the Thrilling Days of Yesterday?

I have visited the John Lennon memorial in Central Park, New York City. I was walking along when I noticed a dramatic shift in consciousness among the people...

They all seemed to be moving slowly and had thoughtful expressions on their faces. Then I noticed a tile mosaic floor that said "Imagine" and I realized where I was.

I'm enjoying a 1963 movie called "Sunday in New York" starring Jane Fonda and Rod Taylor. It's fun to see the "on location" shots of Central Park and the old cars, buses and airplanes... That was a time... Before the War in Vietnam... I can relate to Ronald Reagan's slogan "Make America Great Again" as the memory of our youth is sweet... I was in third grade in 1963... The current President, Donald Trump has copied Reagan's slogan and made it popular again.
