SE REPLIED: You're probably thinking of Live 105, which plays alternative rock and 90's rock. Live 105 went away for a while, but now it's back, and it was very much needed. But I do wish they were more like they were when they first started in the 80's. In the 80's, "alternative rock" meant an "alternative" to regular rock, which was stuff like Led Zeppelin and the Who and Pink Floyd, and also Motley Crue and Def Leppard and stuff like that. Live 105 played new wave and industrial and goth and punk. Their format changed in the 90's when grunge mostly killed all of those other genres, and "alternative rock" was no longer an alternative to regular rock, it was just the mainstream rock: Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains and stuff like that. And I guess they still played some punk, but mostly newer punk like Green Day and the Offspring. So I wish they'd go back to the new wave, industrial, and goth music they played in the 80's. But there doesn't seem to be as much demand for that now, for some reason.

SLJ SAID: I'm really NOT a fan of jazz. But I actually have one of my car radio presets to KCSM, College of San Mateo. 80% of the time they're playing music classified as jazz but it's too chaotic for the meter in my head. I can't seem to find the "pulse" of many songs so I bail and go to one of my other stations. BUT, then again, sometimes they play some really cool and interesting songs that I simply love! The same is true with a lot of classical music so again I have a preset to a classical station. Some of that music I absolutely can't stand but every once in a while they play some really cool songs. I wonder if part of my diverse listening (rock, country, punk, electronic, folk, etc.) habits come from being a musician because I find myself figuring out what they're doing rather that just enjoying it. One thing for sure though, I don't listen to a CD collection. I'm a random radio listener.

SE REPLIED: I never used to like jazz either, with the exception of big band/swing. But I didn't think I liked other types of jazz...but then in 2016, I went to the San Jose Jazz Festival for the first time, and I realized that there are a lot of different styles of jazz, and I actually like a lot of it! But big band/swing is still my favorite. I spend most of my time at the big band stage when I go to the jazz festival.

I know you were trying to protect me. What I wanted was to experience (insert your original desire here). I am whole enough and ready now to follow my spark." Take another deep breath and just notice your body and how you are feeling. Feel free to repeat, adjust and personalize this affirmation even more! It helps to be very specific about what it really was you were going for originally. And it helps to repeat this process as needed. Edward fell in love with a Married American Woman, Wallis Simpson. She got divorced and They Got Married BUT... The English People Insisted that he STOP BEING KING if he wanted to Marry her... At the Rainbow Gathering in California, I spent an afternoon at Ram Dass' Tent... Just relaxing with other people and enjoying some marijuana... There was a long line of people that wanted a personal meeting with Ram Dass and I declined to wait in that line... This tent was at an intersection of two main trails at the Gathering and so there was a lot of interesting looking people walking by... and the Rangers were providing free car rides for disabled people. Right next to us there were a group of Teenagers that were begging for Candy... Well, why not? They used the Slang word DZUZU... Once I found out what that word meant, I threw small bags of M&M Candy at them... and they cheered... Chocolate falling out of the sky! Later I met a DOG and had a long Conversation because I fed him some Summer Sausage... That got the dog's attention... free meat! and he refused to leave me alone until I Hid the Sausage in my Backpack... Then, since he could not see the meat, he believed it was all gone and walked away... 

The next day, there was Live Music at the Ram Dass Tent... and they played the most CONSONANT music I have ever heard... Very similar to Christian Music... where they play Major Chords and never stray into Minor Chords or 7ths... I wandered away because I wanted to be part of the July 4th OM at Main Circle... I took this Photo and then Put the Camera in my Pocket, Held Hands and Chanted... Sometimes it's best to ACTUALLY LIVE LIFE instead of DOCUMENTING LIFE... and then Years later someone on the Internet wrote the slogan... and Potatoshopped it into this Photo... THANKS! I was just surfing the web when Surprise! I saw My Photo with words written on it!

If he found himself reminiscing or planning, he was reminded to “Be Here Now.” He started upon the path of enlightenment, and has been journeying along it ever since.

Many of those Shirts are manufactured at Steven Gaskin's Farm Commune... At the end of the Sixties, many people LEFT the Haight Ashbury district of San Francisco and went back home... but Many Continued FURTHUR and settled on Cheap Land in Rural Locations. One of the most Successful of the Hippie Communes was "The Farm" in Tennessee... Most simply Moved North in California to Marin County, Mendocino, Humboldt and Southern Oregon.
